Spent Saturday night here as we needed accommodation in the area that would allow us to bring our dog. Location is beautiful - right in the middle of the New Forest down a track. Arrived on a sunny day - the beer garden was busy but as it is huge - no problem finding a table. Lunch, dinner and breakfast... More

We stayed here for one night last week with our two spaniels. It's off the beaten track surrounded by the beautiful new forest, lovely long walks. We had the superior room which was huge, plenty of space for us and the dogs stuff. The staff were very friendly and the food was good too. It's an old pub with accommodation... More

We stayed 1 night for our anniversary. Received 1st class service from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. I love the fact that they welcome dogs in the rooms and the restaurant. We were lucky enough to stay in the Kingfisher suite - lovely big room with it's own french doors leading onto a patio, king... More

We did a four or five mile walk through the gorgeous New Forest - earned our lunch! Bank Holiday weekend, the place was so busy - but in a good way: dogs, kids.... Service is so polished; friendly and professional. We opted for the carvery. I went for the 'small' plate (child's), Husband did the big plate. Husband did pork,... More

We give the High Corner Inn three stars for its location and surroundings, not its food. Set down a track in the New Forest, play area for children, surrounded by wonderful country and story book cottages, we regularly meet here for Sunday family lunches. Sunday carvery with a range of meats, the same gravy for all meats, canteen vegetables. You... More

Have been coming to new forest for many years and the whole area is blessed with some of the loveliest pubs I've ever known. The high corner inn at linwood is consistently good for food, service, and standard. I would highly recommend a visit. The rooms are very clean and modern.

A visit to a restaurant or public house is about the whole meal experience. The High Corner did not provide a nice evening. There was some confusion about our table booking despite our booking the table by telephone less than an hour prior to our arrival. From the offset the staff tried to rush us through our meals , so... More

One of the nicest short breaks I've had in many years. Dave, George and Alice were all very attentive to everyone's needs. The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean. Great food too, all proper grub ;-) I wouldn't hesitate to come back here, the location is amazing.

My wife, myself and 2 dogs stopped for a night on way to Isle of Wight. Enjoyed it so much we booked and stayed there another night on way home. Good quality food and real ale, clean rooms. Great location with ponies roaming freely right outside. All staff are really helpful and very friendly. The most dog friendly place we... More

A gem of an inn tucked away down a unmade road in the beautiful New Forest countryside. Service throughout was fantastic with very friendly staff. Food and beer has great, although maybe a tad pricey. Great breakfast too. Room has finished to a high standard, although shower wouldn't hold in the right position. Lack of wi-fi in the rooms was...
