Had Sunday lunch with the family. What can I say other than it was perfect. Carvery was delicious, staff were friendly and so helpful. Best Sunday lunch ever. 10 out of 10 . The food is piping hot which for a carvery is hard to achieve. I had the roast beef and it was delicious. Homemade Yorkshire pudding and a...

We stopped for a Saturday pub lunch and it was very yummy! Wasn't nice weather but the dog was allowed inside so that was a bonus. Food was good value as large portion sizes. Only thing that was a bit annoying was they had trouble with the fire alarm that day which spooked the dog a little. Overall, great visit.

My wife had booked in 57 people here for lunch prior to a visit to RMA Sandhurst. We had all pre ordered our meals from the standard menu. When we arrived we were directed to their function room and after collecting drinks at the bar were promptly served our main courses, all freshly cooked and served hot, no mean feat...

I stayed here for 4 nights whilst up here on business. The bathroom was very modern as were the hallways and reception area. Only complaint was that the carpet in the room had been vacuumed recently or they need a new vacuum cleaner. Would stay again.

The Ely looks like it has had a recent facelift inside but I could not tell how recent. It is very oldy worlde exterior but a more contemporary inside. It has quite a large capacity evident by the packed car park and a couple of functions going on in adjacent rooms. I didn't like the fake bookshelves, they looked cheap!...

I recently had lunch with a friend at the Ely. As a wheelchair user I'm always looking for places with good access. The Ely is in my opinion fantastic. There is disabled car parking spaces next to the entrance. Once inside the pub the space between tables allow easy access. I also discovered they have a RADAR KEY accessible toilet,...

Chose to come here to eat as saw their burger deal on Facebook. Didn't book but got a table in the bar no problem. The whole place looks amazing after a recent refurb, very welcoming. Son had the burger, my daughter and I chose off the lunch menu and all 3 of us were very happy with our choices. Veggie...
