We stayed here as part of a large group the night before my son’s wedding. My husband organised all the room bookings and the hotel staff were so helpful all through the process. All the rooms have recently been refurbished and a very good job has been done. The rooms are bright, spacious and very comfortable. All our party were...

Stayed overnight on Friday, pros were good location, comfy bed & clean room / bathroom, good breakfast, good value for money. Cons were noise carried a bit (thin walls) shower not very powerful at all & seemed to be finishing off a refit as unpainted patches of walls about etc. Worth a stay if accommodation needed in the area &...

Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Ely hotel for a family wedding near by. I travelled with 7 family members and my 17 month old son and we all had a great time! The hotel rooms were, modern, clean and comfortable and free Wifi was available, although the signal was intermittent. We spent a fair amount of...

Staying one night in this fresh and clean hotel. It is built behind the large pub/ restaurant just off the main road, so the bedrooms are quiet. Nice decor, but a couple of stupid errors by the designers.....the highest bed I've ever tried to sleep on ( why so high?) and downward facing lamps that do not swivel at all....so...

We stopped off for lunch having driven past a fair few times. The staff are very friendly, there is a varied menu and the food was great. The prices are reasonable too, we will definitely be back soon 🙂

Used this facility for a one night stay whilst attending a social function at a nearby location. Friendly reception and staff, good sized room and well laid out bathroom. The pub which is attached to the hotel is clean and inviting A full breakfast service was also included in the price. Would I stay here again .......Yes

starters of scallops were 2 tiny little ones and the pate was a pathetically small dish with more clarified butter than pate. The cherry jam with it ran out of the dish like water. 2 small pieces of bread and no butter, when I complained he said the butter was on the top of the pate !!. Next the sea...

Had Sunday lunch with the family. What can I say other than it was perfect. Carvery was delicious, staff were friendly and so helpful. Best Sunday lunch ever. 10 out of 10 . The food is piping hot which for a carvery is hard to achieve. I had the roast beef and it was delicious. Homemade Yorkshire pudding and a...

We stopped for a Saturday pub lunch and it was very yummy! Wasn't nice weather but the dog was allowed inside so that was a bonus. Food was good value as large portion sizes. Only thing that was a bit annoying was they had trouble with the fire alarm that day which spooked the dog a little. Overall, great visit.
