The room was comfortable, the food great. However, most importantly there was great customer service. A small issue was sorted out quickly and without fuss, I would highly recommend a stay in this inn.

We were in a great room at the front of the hotel with period features. Great friendly service. Good food. Fantastic Wi-Fi - we were live streaming 2 sporting events on different devices perfectly. This was the first B&B we stayed at on a 100 mile walk from Winchester to Eastbourne and was very welcome.

We had a great time there. The food was excellent. We found that the staff were friendly and approachable. There are some lovely walks to do from Ye Olde George Inn.The room had a digital TV and tea/coffee making facilities.

We came for our work Christmas Dinner and we sat on a long table in the bar. Food was very good with the most beautiful sprouts I've every tasted. Service was good and we even met the chef. The only negative for me was that were we not seated in the restaurant.

I found this place whilst looking for somewhere to stay overnight as we were going to the Goodwood Revival on the Sunday. This B&B is set in a lovely idyllic village called East Meon, nesting in the hills of the South Downs. We had a double room which was very comfortable and fully equipped. We ate in the restaurant which...

We stayed at Ye Olde George on a sunny Saturday in August 2016. Honestly, I chose the place because it was surrounded by countryside, had a restaurant and bar, but more to the point, was one of the very few places with availability left by the time I got around to booking..! But I couldn’t have been more delighted with...

Let's start by saying ...Lovely clean room ...great food in the restaurant... I phoned at 5pm and a chap told me there were no rooms ? ..online it didn't seem an issue ? Paid £110 for a double room with breakfast which seemed quite high ... We had dinner then the waitress pointed out a fly in a glass of...

Stayed here for a long weekend. Room was fine though bathroom was a bit small and shower needed care when using to avoid extreme cold or heat. Staff were very friendly, wifi was slow at times, excellent breakfast but walls are very thin. But great value for the price

Visited yesterday for a pub lunch whilst on a walk. We have visited this pub several times and its always good, yesterday in particular. We both had the rib eye steak sarnies which were fab. Proper steak which is unusual for a sandwich.

We stayed over night at the ' ye old George inn' and enjoyed evening meal and breakfast the next morning. The food we had in the bar that evening was very good and the breakfast the next morning was superb enhanced by the gentleman who served us. Our room (superior) was lovely, huge and comfortable and well appointed. There are...
