We stayed a few a couple of nights and the room was disappointing despite being the biggest . Very dated . Lack of simple things like Mirrors, a strange bath and a huge low beam across the middle of the room . Breakfast was just continental and we kind of got the impression that bed and breakfast guests are a...

Food - Amazing. Innovative. Stunning presentation. Compliments to the chef! Great wines. And what a selection! Great location. Ideal for walks around the waters edge. Helpful and friendly staff. Cosy lovely rooms with great views.

Whilst the room offered oak beams, a queen sized bed and enough room space, the entrance to the bathroom was tiny as was the bathroom, sort of Alice in Wonderland style - tall people beware. There was all the usual amenities expected, but there was no full length mirror fully accessible, and none to use with the hairdryer. Whilst it's...

We've been here several times over the years, and were interested to see how it was shaping up after the new chef had taken over the kitchen - so we decided to try the 'tasting menu' to get a feel for it. There was nothing particularly bad about it, but nothing particularly stunning either, all the courses both looked a...

We have eaten here a few times but the food we had for lunch yesterday was the best yet!! All courses and amouse bouche etc were delicious, Service was charming. The location is, of course, brilliant, right on the sea-front.Not surprising it's kept its Michelin star for so long! Also lunch was very good value.

The service is first class here and the food is like a la carte with a set menu and the rooms are very modern and boutique. They serve a continental breakfast with a lot of choice where you can help yourself.

We went last night with friends for an early Christmas celebration. We all had an amazing evening. The food was delicious, especially the amuse bouche, and perfectly portioned. The staff were charming, attentive and knowledgeable. All in all a lovely, memorable evening. We will definitely be using this restaurant a lot more.

Those of you who have read my previous reviews of this restaurant will know that this is our favourite UK restaurant. However, because we have travelled a lot this year we hadn't eaten here since June so we enjoyed a menu that was new to us. Ramon Farthing, the owner and head chef has held a Michelin Star continuously for...

There was only one other table occupied so the atmosphere was lacking but food was excellent, although I think the restaurant could do with relaxing slightly, it takes itself a bit too seriously. Also can be challenging parking. I ended up in the other side of the town.
