As a treat, I was taken for lunch to The Lowry hotel. Beautiful decor, pleasant, chilled atmosphere, delicious & pretty food, great wine & champagne selection. I had a great time and the food was so flavourful and filling that I didn't even have dinner later on!

Have stayed at the Lowry three times before so it must be pretty good, The service is always good but this time it was exceptional. It was a very busy Saturday with a wedding party flowing into the bar area, but this did not affect the level of service we experienced. Absolutely everyone we encountered form checking in to leaving...

We stayed two nights for my Daughters Graduation. The first night was a Saturday and we were on the first floor directly over an xmas party the floor was vibrating and I could hear the DJ's every word! I complained in the morning and was assured there would be no parties on the Sunday and the receptionist gave us free...

Dear Liz F Thank you for your recent trip advisor review. We were pleased to read that you enjoyed the accommodation, breakfast and dinner service. Brilliant on arrival Paddy the door man is always on form and even had some banter with us (we have met him a few times). Best place to go for a quiet drink. I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and never can fault it. It has recently been refurbished and looks even better. Rooms overlooking the river or the city the same, so I never pay for the more expensive view. We had full breakfast and that was great everything you would expect plus they have a menu...

3 night business trip, hotel 'offers' more than it provides. Rooms small, and relatively basic, cleanliness 7/10, facilities 6/10, furnishings 5/10. There are better hotels in Manchester, with much better value for money.

Whenever in Manchester we always stay here there's no substitute for class, never fails to please. Rooms are always spotless and welcoming, don't book anywhere else, you pay a bit more but well worth it,can't wait to come back in 2016. I thought when roco forte sold the Lowry it would go down hill, but in fact it as gone better.
