Cheap for central area next to Salford Royal. Outside looks a bit run down. Parking looks secure-ish. Main lobby is in need of decoration. My single small room was lovely, quiet, clean, tidy. No complaints. Obviously it had been decorated. Breakfast was fine too. Staff friendly. It has a funny sort of olde-worlde bed and breakfast atmosphere, no wonder Coronation...

Found it to be more of a B&B rather than a hotel, however over all we had a comfortable stay being quite short and only spending the nights there. The room had all that we needed and breakfast wasn't too bad.

This was the second one night stay myself and my mum have had at this 'hotel' due to having an appointment early morning at Salford Royal for which it is ideally placed - hospital is practically across the road from it. I would deem it more of a B&B than hotel due to my own definition and idea of what...

I wasn’t expecting much for the price we paid and I’m afraid I was proved correct. The hotel is dilapidated with uneven floors, cracked ceilings and walls, water damaged plaster and so on. The twin room was small with narrow beds and a somewhat pathetic en-suite. On the plus side, the location is handy if you’re visiting the hospital or...

Gent on desk was helpful and nice mannered, daughters single room nice décor but cold for whole stay, mine and hubbys room was a twin, clean and tidy, tea, coffee ,biscuits , Freeview TV , Wi-Fi. very hot in the room,...

Stayed one nights. The hotel itself is quiet convenient and easy to access via public transport. We arrived and the gentleman on reception was nice, gave us our key and told us where our room was. Unfortunately it was all downhill from there no main lights on meaning only emergency floor lighting was lighting the already creepy and outdated looking...

Hubby booked this as we wanted a cheap hotel overnight after a late flight into Manchester. Had we seen it in the daylight we would have kept going. On a positive note the bed was comfy and the bedding crisp and spotless. There are some good touches, tea making in room, biscuits and complimentary toiletries. There was no way I...

A small double room with shower in one corner & sink in room. All fittings & decor are very tired. Room was damp due to no extractor in the shower - Mildew is a severe problem. This could be a health issue for people with asthma, etc. Electrics are dangerous - The TV flickers on & off when the shaver...

Although the majority of our stay was adequate and the room appeared clean, my roommate and I (in twin room, no.2) left with bed bug bites which developed further after leaving- we are now covered and fear we may have to treat our own homes! I have tried to contact the hotel but 48hrs after emailing I have still not...

As others have stated, this place needs closing for a major overhaul. I stayed in room 7 for four nights. Dirty carpet. Dirty walls. Dirty bathroom. Worthless shower. Breakfast ha! After only one morning I visited Greggs instead. £55 per night! Not worth a fiver.
