Midweek stay for one night at a really good price for bed with breakfast. Lovely setting..well worth a walk along the road in the morning. The houses are perfectly Cotswolds through and through. Room and bedding were clean and adequate with some old world charm to it. Staff were friendly enough. Bar food in the evening was adequate but perhaps...

A warm reception from Tony got our two night mini break off to a good start. The twin bedded room was clean, warm and a good base. Breakfasts were excellent, freshly made and a decent selection of juices, yoghurts, cereals and the full cooked breakfast. We had a bar meal on both evenings, the selection was very limited but what...

Stayed 5th February 2015 for one night whilst on a trip to visit relatives in Wiltshire. We saw the area on maps and that Blockley looked to be an interesting but generally missed place on the tourist trails other than for walkers. The first thing that needs to be noted is that the streets are very narrow with many vehicles...

We have recently returned from a stay at this hotel. We found the hotel set in the sleepy village of Blockley. The village has a shop and tearoom (both very good). The hotel is a lovely quaint old building built with Cotswold stone and has lovely thick walls. It may need a bit of tlc here and there but this...

We had a 2 night stay booked through Groupon so it was good value for money and in a beautiful village. The room was warm and clean. We ate in the restaurant both nights and enjoyed the food. Friendly service both in reception and the restaurant. All in all we enjoyed our stay here. As with some reviews the place...

Stayed for two nights, and all was good, rooms were clean, although some of the window frames were rotting around the bottom, the owners really need to look at them. Breakfast was nice, and was served from 830 to 1000 for our stay, may be worth noting if you need an early start. The car parking was fine and also...

This was our second visit to this hotel. It is set in the lovely village of Blockley, which I think is one of the nicest places in the Cotswolds and well worth a visit. The hotel has charm, but has become quite unloved and in need of money spent on it. We were not in the main building this time,...

Stayed here for my birthday. When we arrived we were left standing in reception we were then greeted by a foreign man who wasn't very welcoming and not too bothered, not a great start. The room was very old and weathered, could do with a freshen up. The linen was clean and the room was clean. The breakfast was good...
