Thank you so much for your lovely review, I am so pleased that you enjoyed your lunch with us. The wine that you would have drunk is Three Choirs English House Dry white wine which is from Gloucestershire - just across the river from us.
Quite simply the location is lovely, the food enjoyable and the waiting staff helpful, with the notable and vital exception of 'mein hostess'. It really did feel as if we were disturbing her day big time!

Been here several times in the past and it never fails. As others have said, it is a lovely building set in beautiful surroundings very close to the River Severn. The staff are very welcoming and attentive without being obtrusive.

The cost of a double room in weekdays is £110 and at weekends is £130. This includes vat & a light ( very good) breakfast. I can recommend staying here - there is wi-fi and all you need and a fabulous view, and a lovely walk... More
