Birthday weekend stay in March. I stayed with my partner & 3mnts old kid here. We arrived early so room was not ready but reception did best to accomodate us in 30min. Manager Bertie is very polite and helpfull, we couldn't fit our baby buggy in to breakfast room so he sit us in the lounge where they usually serve...

I stayed at the hotel for 5 weeks. It was an amazing stay. I was moved around couple of times. Even stay at their flat. Family run hotel, both husband and wife are great. he was by far the best thing of the hotel, he was extremely well spoken and had the best voice ever. very pleased that he could speak german and Spanish as we are international travellers. Me my wife will definitely visit again sometime soon, tell Erald we are coming for him ......

We stayed here over the Halloween weekend and what a great experience it was. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out we received the best service! We had quite a lot of luggage and the lady on reception (really sorry, I didn't get any names) was more than happy to help us carry our bags...

Stopped on business Friday and Saturday night. Single room which was very clean and perfectly adequate with iron/ ironing board/ small fridge/ en suite and TV. Reception and bar manned by 'Ben' who was extremely courteous and explained meal times, facilities etc. Evening meal - Food and drink very good value and very large portions. Comprehensive breakfast buffet. Very pleased...

On a recent trip to Southend used this Hotel, very good room good breakfast,close to town centre,I know the area as i used to live here it's ten minute walk to town.The only problem is the limited parking,when we arrived on a friday night we parked easily,we went out saturday morning and on return found the small car park full.parking...

Hotel, staff, food, rooms, location, all as good as you could want, extremely happy with this hotel. The family who run this hotel are very nice people, extremely friendly and accommodating, breakfast is very nice and good value and so are the evening meals
