My wife and I stayed at the Devonshire as we were visiting friends who live just round the corner. It was easy to find and looks really nice on arrival and you can park which is always a bonus. The hotel looks like it's been recently refurbished and has quite a modern feel but still very comfy. The rooms are...

Brilliant hotel. We were greeted at reception by the lovely young lady that took our previous telephone booking. She is cheery and chatty in a way that assures you its going to be a good stay. We stayed in room 7 which is above reception and has a huge bay window on the road side. Do you know, it was...

Stayed at the Devonshire on the 26th Mar. Hotel is a step up from bed and breakfast. Room i had was spacious with what seemed a new bathroom with a powerful shower. Breakfast was very enjoyable with plenty of selection. Would choose a hotel like this over any of the bigger chains anyway.

A wonderful small independent hotel very convenient for my work trip to Havering. Modern, stylish and spotlessly clean, the hotel really showed the care and attention of being privately owned and run by people who take pride in their business. The breakfast was great and I was happy to meet the very friendly owner on the morning that I checked...

Also, very helpful. My only things are these, perhaps the tea/coffee facilities could be a little broader - maybe fruit teas/earl grey? The shower cubicle was absolutely unmovable in...

Absolutely recommend this hotel. Couldn't fault the service if we tried! Staff were amazing, room was really lovely and breakfast was fab. Stayed for a surprise family celebration so location was perfect for us and could really feel the family atmosphere of the place. Sad to leave.
