We had a lovely weekend here with our 5 year old son. The site is small, so we were able to let him play with the other children on the site while keeping him well within our site. We walked to Bewl and visited Bedgebury while here. The toilets and showers were very regularly cleaned. Washing up facilities basic, but...

As our first ever camping trip we wanted somewhere fairly local, and due to this sites close proximity to both Bewl Water & Bedgebury, it fit the bill perfectly. We were booked to stay from Good Friday to Easter Monday, and before we left home I called to ask if we could arrive before the check in time of 2pm,...

Hi snowflake71. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We have received another similar comment about the hot water for the wash basins, and are looking into repairing or replacing these. Sorry if this caused you any inconvenience. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Thank you Jay and Catherine Morgan

The main guy running the show was always helpful and happy to help. He even used his tractor to position our caravan where we wanted it. The location is perfect as Bewl Water is 1 mile down the road. The only thing stopping me giving the site an excellent review is the hot water took a long time to come...

Hi ShereceLouise. Thank you for your comments. We are glad you had a good time. We will take a look at updating the water heaters to reduce the amount of waste while waiting for the hot. Be assured however that our sink wastewater is recycled and used for irrigation. Hope to see you again. Jay and Catherine Morgan.

We looked for site out of season and found this one. The only one around that was willing to take our 24ft Motorhome, not sure why, but it was to our benefit. Very friendly and helpful, so much we went back to following night. There are a lot of things to do locally and was provided with a sheet of...

I spent 2 nights at this site as I was taking part in an art competition at Scotney Castle. The reception was warm and friendly. So supportive when I had a particluar issue to deal with. They showed me walks, directions to places and I barely had to light my stove as there were kettles everywhere! This was as well...

Love this campsite, it is very quiet (even on bank holiday weekend when full). The pitches are very spacious and the field very well tended. The toilets are in fantastic condition, so very clean and kept that way and checked regularly through the day. I would have preferred not to pay 50p for the showers but they were in excellent...

Hi Carpe_Diem Thank you for you comments. Unfortunately providing WiFi is not currently an option as we are not able to get a broadband service to the site, we use a mobile phone connection in the office. We hope to see you again soon. Jay and Catherine Morgan

Lovely small family oriented campsite. Small enough so you can see your children and what they are up to but large enough so it doesn't feel cramped. The owners make their excess vegetables available and we even had a gymnastic display by a few of the children staying. Well worth a visit.

if only all campsites were like this one! Site was fully booked over the bank holiday weekend and we were a bit anxious that would mean not a lot of space, plus it might be noisy. We need not have worried as even 'at capacity' the pitches offered ample space. There are 'rules' about quiet hours, which we come across...

Hi Pigtiglet. Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately Wi-Fi is not an option for us as we do not receive any broadband service. Internet to our office is provided via 4G "mobile" signal that has a 50gb per month cap, and therefore is not practical to share with the site. Hopefully broadband will be available to us at some point....

This is a little gem of a place, nice pitches, hut with fridges to keep your beers cold, clean hot showers. There is a pathway next to the entrance to the campsite which leads all the way down to the bewlwater resevoir. If your feeling energetic it is a 13 mile hike all the way round, or you could just...

Booked the site as there is a track straight to bewl water. Lovely clean and quiet site with great showers. Thanks for fitting me in at short notice. Maybe have an information board with walks to bewl and through the woods to the pub at Kilndown?

Cedar Gables is a small site with good facilities, surrounded on three sides by trees. There is a footpath to Bewl Water which is ideal for walking, cycling, fishing and sailing. Situated on the Kent and Sussex border we are close to many National Trust properties, and within easy reach of Tunbridge Wells and Hastings.
