The rooms have just been refurbished and are beautiful. Very comfortable 4-poster bed. Nice shower room. Great breakfast. (We cycled from Wadhurst station - 2 miles). Friendly family-run pub. We recommend it.

We have visited this pub quite a few times since the new owners took over last November & whether it is lunch or dinner the food is excellent. We have never had a bad meal in all of our dozen or more visits. The pub has changed hands many times in the last few years and hasn't been good. However,...

I haven't been to the Best Beech for years so when mum and dad suggested having New Year's Day lunch here I was interested to see what it was like. It is under new management and the staff were really friendly, warm and welcoming. The place looks fab too, we sat in the nicely decorated dining room. The food was...

We Live in Wadhurst & have two thriving business's in the high st so we were hoping that when it was recently taken over we could use this as our Local. However we found the so called Manager very rude & unpleasant when we had drinks spilt over us by the waitress . We understand accidents happen but when you...

The Best Beech is a lovely pub with a welcoming dining room but this left visit us thinking there were a few things not quite as they should have been - we were told along with all the other diners that two waiting staff hadn't turned up for work so it would be necessary to order our restaurant drinks from...

My wife and I stayed here after a friend's wedding and found that the landlord was very welcoming and helpful. The room was large, clean and perfectly suited to the woodland surroundings. The cooked breakfast was perfectly done using some delicious ingredients. It is a little dark if you return after the pub is closed, as somebody commented here, but...

We called into this country pub for lunch on our way home after a shopping trip in Tunbridge Wells. The pub is in a relatively quiet but attractive rural setting. We were served at the bar immediately on arrival by a very friendly and helpful member of staff. My wife had ham egg and chips for lunch. All the meat...

We stayed here just one night as we were going to a concert at Bedgebury Pinetum (Paloma Faith - she was great!) The landlady is very friendly and welcoming, and overall this is a comfortable pub to stay in. The room was nice and quiet, the bed comfy and the sheets and towels of a good quality. We had the...
