Consistent standards throughout the hotel as you expect with this group - nothing outstandingly good. The great advantage is the proximity to the port and ease of travel to France. They did seem a little understaffed when we were there but it didn't detract from the service..

Basic accommodation but it does what it says on the tin ! Clean and comfortable with good bed and linens. Food is available in adjacent Restuarant but nothing after 10pm. Good quality breakfast with good range of options available. Good value for money.

Excellent Value! We were attending a family wedding nearby, the restaurant for meals was on site right next door to the hotel. The breakfast which was included in our stay was extremely good. First class service at a reasonable price. Would definitely stay there again!

A very good hotel with very friendly staff , when the Hotel has aircon , it will be brilliant . We had one of the new rooms However it was very hot and the fan provided did its job . The food was very good and the service excellent despite being busy

Nice location, good service and quite rooms. We needed special assistance rooms for my mum and facility was good with staff support. Car park is good, food options are nice offered by the next door restaurant (the drove) or can walk to sainsbury.

My husband and I stayed at Newhaven whilst visiting our daughter for our grandsons birthday. We have stayed here before it is our preferred location. Staff always very helpful. Breakfast very good. As hotel is next to sainsbury there's a petrol station close at hand.

This is a hotel to avoid if at all possible. The rooms are unbearably hot which makes for a very uncomfortable night even when the weather is not particularly warm. There was a fan in the room but this was ineffective. The staff know about the problem and the when the problem is mentioned the attitude is basically a shrug...

Having stayed at the Premier Inn in Newhaven on a number of occasions before we knew it as a standard hotel, conveniently located close to the ferry port with its own pub and, like other Premier Inns, a cycle friendly policy with helpful staff. On previous occasions, having phoned ahead, we’d been allowed to store bikes inside the hotel but...

We were again made very welcome, especially as we changed rooms in order to have a couch in the room. Room was very clean, bed and couch comfortable and we slept well. Hotel staff were very helpful in booking dinner for us elsewhere and we now note the entrance is via automatic doors - very handy when carrying in suitcases.

Thank Arthur C
