We normally eat at the Sail and Plough just up the road, but on this occasion they were fully booked so we moved on to the Crown and boy were we grateful. The food is exceptional. All food is fresh, veg from their own garden and allotment, pork form their own pigs , lamb from own sheep, all at very...

Dropped in on the off chance, no problem finding a table for 3 of us. Staff very friendly and service very quick even though the pub was busy. Tasty, freshly cooked food (steak and fish and chips). Only down side is a limited menu that really only suited meat eaters, vegetarians would struggle.

Even though they'd only just opened on a Sunday evening the kitchen churned out top notch grub promptly so we had no worries about being late for our show. Even the sausage and mash was so fresh it was like a boutique dish. Staff were...

Beautiful old inn in heart of Suffolk. The check in was easy and the room just beautiful with old timbers wonky floors and comfortable bed. Loved it. Really good breakfast with local sausages and bacon. Friendly staff. Well worth a visit

Lovely food (steak and steak & kidney pud respectively). Service friendly and ambience as good as when we've visited before but restaurant was cold which knocks one star off. Meat and veg particularly good.
