We arrived to much confusion as the hotel had been taken over by travel lodge 2 hours previously. Whilst I appreciate that this was disruptive for the staff it should not have affected us as paying customers - On arrival at 3pm (our confirmation said 2pm check in) the reception had to check the room was ready as they had...

Stayed here for one night and whilst the room was clean and a good size it was incredibly hot in the July heat making sleep very uncomfortable. It was quite expensive given the location (on an industrial estate) and the continental style 'diy' breakfast. Bar and reception staff seemed a little thin on the ground for the size of the...

Its based on edge of an industrial estate, the main problem of which were the building works happening opposite at early o'clock on a Saturday. The reception/bar/restaurant area is quiet modern and pleasant. Reasonably modern building. Its about to be taken over by Travelodge, which may account for the staffs attitude. They were underwhelming and dismissive, especially at breakfast time...

I have stayed here a few times in the last 2 years. I always sleep well. I have stayed in King or Queen sized rooms which are decent sized, clean and comfortable. King has a shower only while Queen has bath with shower. Breakfast is usual buffet style offering scrambled eggs, baked beans, sausages etc as well as an array...

Booked in for 2 nights in August, and I have heard that Travelodge are taking over. Please keep this hotel exactly as it is. We have stayed here many times. Lovely staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, and the bar is a real bonus. Nothing needs to change. PLEASE.

We stayed overnight on 25 June as we were in the area to attend a music gig nearby. We even had a night cap drink at the bar before bed that night. The rooms were clean and tidy and our bed was huge. Very comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast was a buffet affair with plenty of choice. Was disappointed with the...

The rooms and bathrooms are clean, smart and modern. Freeview tv, free WiFi - a bit patchy but useable, good bar, harvester next door. Good location on edge of industrial estate. Quickly gets full so book early. About a 20 min walk to the town centre.

We stayed at this hotel last weekend as we were in the area for a party. The staff on reception were always very friendly and helpful at all hours of the day/night. Rooms were basic but clean. Big bed, dressing table, tv, wardrobe and storage space. Bathroom look modern but there seemed to be a bit of a waterflow issue....

We stayed at this hotel at the weekend for a wedding. It was a great hotel for the price - excellent value for money. The room was very clean and tidy - perfect for what we needed it for - with a pullout bed for our daughter. Breakfast was an open style buffet and the sausages were delicious. The customer...

Good functional hotel and at a reasonable standard. Rooms large, clean, comfortable, large bed + good wifi. Open buffet breakfast area, food acceptable, but not exceptional. Within walking distance of the industrial estate, so was ideally located. Price was a fair reflection of the accommodation and would recommend due to its location near industrial estate.

Thank Ian M
