I stayed here for two nights in a refurbished room on the second floor. The room was nicely furnished with good bedding and an immaculate bathroom with shower. The only criticism is that the window seat takes away some of the heat. The room was not cold but could have been warmer. The dinner in the restaurant was of good... More

We had an ordinary room on the second floor in the old bit of the hotel. The room was comfortable and very warm on a chilly night (it is adjustable). TV small for the size of room and was tucked away in a corner. Great selection of refreshments and biscuit s and certainly not stingy like some more pricy hotels.... More

This is a lovely friendly hotel, slightly tired in some areas but beautifully clean and warm. The staff are the most helpful I have ever encountered in a hotel and take so much trouble to make you feel welcome. Very good value weekend break, will stay again soon.

The bedroom was lovely recently refurbished with a nice window seat, the bathroom had a walk in shower which did the job very well but there was no shelf so your shampoo etc had to go on the floor. Breakfast was very good and cooked to order. We didnt eat in the restaurant because it was so old fashioned the... More

Nice hotel in nice location at the beginning of the shopping street of Felixstooe. The decor typical British, previous seasons, with the carpets, tapestries on the walls and beautiful lounges for breakfast, afternoon tea, evening drinks or beer. Beautiful lighting especially in living rooms, in harmony with the character and style of hotel. The rooms are clean with comfortable bed and... More

Booked an evening meal in the restaurant but, on arrival, discovered we were in the Buttery. (We weren't staying at the hotel.) Three of us had three drinks, a starter, a main course and a bottle of wine - £95. The asparagus soup and whitebait were good. The sirloin and ribeye steaks were very good. Chips average and salad nothing... More

Stayed in this Hotel earlier this week for the first time. Excellent accommodation, first class food, staff well trained and very good value. How Hotels used to be years ago, some rooms may need a coat of paint, but it's still a great Hotel. Fisherman251
