We stayed at the Ship, for 3 nights at the beginning of February. We took our Labrador, Ted. We were given a room which was at the back of the building, which opened onto the garden, which was handy with the dog being with us....More

We had a lovely light lunch and drink after a brisk walk on the beach. Fresh food and clean surroundings. We sat in the conservatory as it was sunny. The court yard looked fabulous with care taken with pots of flowers and herbs.More

Our second stay at The Ship. Good food, good beer, enjoyable fellow guests and drinkers. Greyfriars room was ideal for our aged pointer. The en-suite is spotless and spacious ; however, it would benefit from the addition of some shelving for toiletries and make-up.More

Been here before and last time wasnt a very good experience with waiting staff...but this time was very good. Friendly staff and great food. No finger bowl though with shell on prawns. Very varied menu so was spoilt for choice.More
