This hotel was conveniently located for a wedding we were attending and was easy to find. The room we stayed in was in a traditional b&b style with a modern bathroom. We only stayed one night but found the owners to be extremely helpful going above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. Very kind and helpful.

When we arrived we were greeted by Sarah who offered us a cup of Tea and Cake which was very nice had we had been walking 18 miles along the Peddars way. There was no Dinner being served (so have to walk into Town but loads of options there). The shower was the best we had come across. The Breakfast...

Short walk across the meadow to the town centre and a choice of tea rooms, pubs and restaurants. Internet sporadic in the room but worked OK in the bar area. Host very welcoming - sheets and blankets a throwback to my younger days before duvets but comfy!

We booked one night here but wished we could have stayed longer. A very friendly welcome. And greeted with a cup of tea and a slice of cake in a bar that felt cosy and relaxing but not too small. Rooms were very comfortable and the house had so much character. Breakfast was a delight and service was friendly and...

Stayed here for a few nights while looking around the area. Friendly welcome with decent room. Highly efficient shower and a good breakfast. Staying in Swaffham, you need to book pubs outside the town in advance. Choice of dining very limited in town centre.

Ideal town location with good rooms, parking and welcoming hosts. Well worth looking at if you need to stay in the Swaffham area. Norfolk has lots of interest, and this location is ideal within the area. We would certainly consider Lydney House again if travelling to this area.

The service was great, the room was clean and well furnished and they have great WiFi. The only criticism I would make is it is a little hard to find at night when driving (But I had that same issue nearly everywhere in England). Overall would recommend and would stay again.

Received a warm welcome along with tea and cake. Room was very comfortable and warm with a modern and spacious bathroom. Lydney House is in a good position away from the main town but still within walking distance of it. Breakfast was good. There is a small bar and lounge downstairs for the use of guests. We enjoyed our stay...
