Lovely weekend with friends in a lovely, comfortable and friendly hotel. Food is very good, especially the full English breakfast. Real fires in dining room. The grounds are beautiful. We stayed in Primrose room on top floor, shower very hot. Storage heater for the chillier nights.

Stayed twice this year, both times were absolutely lovely. In August my husband and I stayed for 3 nights in room Primrose on the second floor which had a very large bathroom, Broom Hall also conducted the funeral reception for my father which was faultless. In September my sister and I stayed in the Wagtail room on the first floor,... More

Excellent lunch yesterday with friends and family in the Conservatory at Broom Hall. The sun was shining, the garden looked beautifully kept and the food and wine was delightful. And nobody was in a hurry to kick us out - we were there for nearly four hours.

We have stayed at Broom Hall before and were only too happy to find an excuse to return. The owners ensure that you will want to come again. They lead their staff to have the right mix of professionalism and being personable. We were delighted with our room which was in The Stable Block. It was well furnished and exceptionally... More

Very comfortable stay ( 5 nights ) rooms in keeping with country hotel and most of all quiet. Breakfast good with variable choice of full English to cereal or toast. Evening meals also tasty with special menu's on certain days. (Beer good) Simon and his staff were very welcoming. We'll be back very soon for evening dinner.

We chose to stay here for the bank holiday weekend, as it is dog friendly, and in a lovely setting, and on the edge of the market town we used to live in many years ago. We weren't disappointed, on arrival Friday we sat out in the lovely garden and had lunch in such a peaceful/tranquil setting, whilst our room... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night, the reception staff were very welcoming, giving us all relevant information and showing us to our room. The room was clean and well presented, with lovely views from the roof window. The bathroom was clean and well equipped with soap and shower gel, cotton buds and cotton balls. The hotel has... More

Enjoyed our short stay in this hotel, the staff were extremely friendly, the rooms were pleasant with charming views on to the gardens, the beds very comfortable and the ensuite bathrooms spacious. The decor, whilst perfectly OK, wouldn't win any accolades from those who like 'boutique hotels' but to my mind comfort and pleasant staff win out every time. Also... More
