Visited her on a warm Sunday in April. We were greeted by a friendly woman who took drinks orders promptly. The restaurant had a nice costal theme to it and it was very comfortable. Not pretentious in the slightest! The food was amazing, every course was delicious. I cannot fault this place at all! And for a Michelin star restaurant...

We were lucky to get a table and overnight stay at The Neptune Inn due to a cancellation. Our room was lovely and Kevin was both welcoming and helpful when we checked in. At dinner time, we opted for the tasting menu and chose a bottle of wine from the wine list (there was a good selection of wines). We...

We were amazed that someone could view this restaurant as pretentious - it is a lovely unassuming culinary experience. We had the tasting menu and every dish was amazing. We liked the pace of service - nit hurried but not too long between courses - given the extent of the menu we started at seven and finished around half nine....

We were treated to a double room bed, breakfast and 3 course dinner for two, at The Neptune Inn and Restaurant. Having arrived early, we followed good advice, from our host, by visiting nearby Ringstead (with its Hidden Treasures rooms in the General Store) and Burnham Market. Our room initially seemed fine. Prior to dinner, we had two bottles of...

my wife and I had a weekend away in and around Norfolk, it turned into a culinary tour crowned by a visit to the Neptune Restaurant. What can I say......outstanding is not sufficient.......by far and away the best dinning experience ever!!!! The only downside is that we now have a destination restaurant over 150 miles away, but no matter this...

Having dined at the Neptune we can safely say that it thoroughly deserves it's Michelin star. We had a delightful, well presented, unfussy and very tasty meal which was largely based on local produce and skilfully prepared by Kevin and served by Jacki. Both are passionate about what they do and about the hospitality industry. They are extremely friendly and...

We have been visiting this 2010 and try to get over and stay for a couple of nights every year. The food is always excellent as is atmosphere and service. Its' location is excellent for a morning walk on the beach before the breakfast and you need a walk before breakfast if you have eaten there the night before. The...

We stayed at the Neptune for our wedding anniversary and cannot recommend it highly enough. We had a standard room but it had everything you could possibly need from Magimix capsule coffee machine' homemade biscuits, to cotton buds. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented and you get more than normal for a restaurant of this quality! The ambiance was most...

Although the main reason to visit the Neptune is for the superb restaurant (see separate review), there are also good reasons to stay here as well. The rooms are very nicely put together, spacious, with individual touches and very nice bathrooms. The breakfast is as good as you'd expect and the service is extremely efficient and friendly - you're made...

We were given a dinner, bed and breakfast as a gift from some friends as a wedding present. The Neptune is fantastic and set in old Hunstanton. We were greeted by Kevin (owner and chef) and shown to our lovely room. The room was very nice, with a very comfortable bed, coffee maker, TV and lovely bathroom. We booked in...
