Recently held a traditional Afternoon Tea Party in a private room here to celebrate a special Birthday with friends. The chef excelled himself with a beautifully presented wide selection of delicious little cakes on tiered stands, newly made scones and variety of fresh finger sandwiches which were much enjoyed by all. The whole afternoon has been greatly complimented in thank...

I needed to stay for one night to avoid a potentially disruptive journey to a business meeting the next morning. I don't think the Hotel was that busy, it was a Monday night. I was warmly greeted at Reception and shown to my room. It was very large! It was also well equipped. Free WiFi was appreciated. I had a...

This held a selection of sandwiches, petite fours, mince pies, Christmas cake and muffins, delicious! We...

A quirky room in the annex. Compfortable bed slightly disturbed by the kitchen extractor fan! The quite young staff were really helpful and friendly. All in all a good place to stay for an overnight business visit. A good selection of real ales, well kept in the bar. Plenty of parking but the entrance is NOT from Denmark Street. A...

we went for lunch, even though we had pre-ordered the service was very slow. I had a starter of stuffed mushroom which was very nice but I could not distinguish what was in the stuffing. My main course of beef on a bed of ( warmish) mashed potato tasted good and the beef was tender, but,,,,,,,,,O the veg, over cooked...
