Stayed for 3 nights with friends whilst visiting various National Trust locations in Suffolk. Very helpful and friendly welcome at reception. Room was fine although water pressure in washbasin wasn't great and could have done with a bigger TV screen. Ate in restaurant one night and had a very good meal. Breakfast was excellent. All staff were very friendly and...

We recently attended our grandsons 16th birthday meal at the park hotel. The food was exquisite, I had the pan fried lamb rump, it's was beautiful presented and cooked to perfection. Looking at the other meals on the table, and from the talk going round, everyone enjoyed their meals. Many thanks to your staff, for making my grandsons birthday meal...

Nice hotel from the outside, and nice outside bar and inside bistro. The problem is if you have to sleep there. Sleep is used in the most loosely of terms, as depending where your room is you wont be getting any. The room was tired looking and the rather grubby looking mattress did not deter me as i knew by...

I have recently been for a lunchtime meal at the Park Hotel and was dismayed to hear a group complaining about the content of the lunch menu. The food I had from that menu was really lovely and I had plenty of options to choose from. I, like a great many others, do not want a 'fancy' menu at lunchtime,...

We have often eaten here either as a couple or for a party night or afternoon tea but we hadn't stayed before! It was our 39th wedding anniversary and we were attending a sports presentation dinner here so thought we would stay over so booked via Booking.com the last double room with view over the garden. When we arrived the...

I stayed for several nights in the disabled room (NB the shower has a step) and was very pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and the comfortable quarters. The restaurant got very busy on Thursday and Friday so I would book a table if you are staying.
