Group of us stayed for 1 night in 2 twin rooms about 2 weeks ago. One room had no light bulbs at all. Bed sloped to one side. Radiators did not work. Unles you were a super slim midget then the so called ensuite was a joke - good job we were all good friends - washed when we got...

I stayed here with 2 friends - we took a family room which was right at the top of the hotel. The wind literally whistled through the rot holes in the windows, and the beds were rickety to say the least - the double bed's headboard was 2 inches lower on the left than the right! I parked my car on the bay outside of this place and paid £55 to stay the night. I wish I'd just got my sleeping bag out and slept in the car. I agree with Freezerman's comments. Only thing to add was that despite turning the radiator up on full (no heat at all) and covering myself in the duvet...

This Hotel is passed it's best. My room had a plastic cubical which had toilet, shower and wash basin all in one very small corner. Technically 'ensuite' but really was a joke. Paper thin walls meant any conversation from next room was clearly heard including the colourful language! Stair carpet completely worn through and potentially dangerous. B& B was charged...

Have now used this hotel on numereous occasions. such helpful staff, there just when you need them. Great food both breakfast and dinner. And the best bit, the bar closes when the last guest goes to bed!!
