We spent 5 nights in the hotel and found it to be fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and I would single out the bar staff as being a real highlight, they represented the hotel perfectly each and everyone I had the pleasure of dealing with. I visited the restaurant once in the evening and the food was simply exquisite,...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 16 November 2016 via mobile

This is a very nice hotel with an exceptional location in the town centre of Longyearbyen. The hotel is quite modern and stylish. As in many other hotels in Longyearbyen, you need to take of your shoes when entering the hotel (unfortunately not all visitors respects this tradition which results in wet floor and socks from time-to-time). The breakfast, served...

It was our pleasure to welcome you to Svalbard, Anders. We were more than happy to be of assistance during your stay and it is lovely to read that you found value in the hotel's facilities. We are indeed proud of the view the hotel and restuarant offers over Adventfjorden and always enjoy hearing that our guests appreciated it as...

It's true - Longyearbyen is a forbidding, desolate iceberg of a place and we were exteremly happy that the Radisson exists. You can't be picky when you're surrounded by polar bears. They have a reception with friendly service, a cozy pub with great staff, a warm and very relaxed atmosphere and warm, clean rooms with soft beds. Oh, and blinds....

Svalbard is a small place with few services, so it is only fair to place the comparison in this view. I saw the other two hotels here, and Radisson is the best choice. The rooms are clean and adequate. Could use some updating. I did not find any amenities in the bathrooms at all? The front desk staff are helpful...

Now this Hotel has all the opportunities of being a good Hotel but they have not taken the opportunity. You can't say anything about the service its ok. The rooms compared to the price is really low score and I hate to shower in a bathtub. Breakfast is included and is again low quality compared to price. I guess because...

Nice bar, nice rooms, bathrooms could be modernized. Ideal for small conferences. Organize your daytrips from the hotel desk. Have a nice stay. Don't forget Barentz camp experience. Dogsledding or snowscootering can also be fun.

Not really the standard that you expect from a Radisson Blu. But given the location it still the best choice. Rooms are convient. Bathroom is a bit dated but probably the best you can find in town. Staff are traineey but they try to manage

Stayed here for three nights and had a very good experience. Staff were very friendly and solution-oriented, and my room was large and comfortable, if a little cold at first -- this was quickly resolved when I had a heater brought in. The only drawback to my room was that there was no cupboard or drawers to store my clothes...

We stayed in a junior suite during April 2017 and the Radisson Blu gave us a spacious, clean and comfortable place to stay during our 4 days of activities in Longyearbyen. Our junior suite was very spacious, with a sofa for lounging around on during down time and a large flat-screen TV. The minibar fridge in the room had extra...

Pleasant. Basic but pleasant. Great jacuzzi, ask for drinks before you go to the jacuzzi. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fabulous. And the bar serves a good burger. Also try the green dog sleds. Try to call a taxi for your trips out - better than the bus and group visits. Be careful of the one man...
