You travel to the far north to experience some of the unique things the place has to offer, this simple seems to have been missed by the hotel staff. We stayed there for 4 days in Dec and arrived in the time of the year with 24 hrs darkness and hence prime for viewing the Northern Lights. There is a...

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and your experience during the Christmas dinner. We regret to hear about the disappointing service when trying to book a tour to view the norther lights. We appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention and have shared your comments with hotel management...

Stayed for a week in a junior suite over New Year and, given the remote location, was very, very pleasantly surprised. Rooms spacious and clean, staff were lovely and super helpful. WiFi worked perfectly (which was a bonus we didn't expect). All the key excursions can be booked at reception and the staff will really go out of their way...

Being this remote to the mainland, I knew that I could not expect your ordinary hotel service but they surprised me. There are things that could have been better. For instance, you have to drag your luggage to a separate building in the snow if you are staying in a suite. There is no telephone in the hotel room. No...

We stayed at this hotel from December 30th 2016 until January 2nd 2017. We decided to splurge and booked a junior suite to have some more space. Check in was a bit chaotic mostly due to the fact that everyone arrived with the same airport express bus and the bus stopped right in front of the hotel. We checked in...

Thank you for taking the time to write such an extensive review of your impression during your recent stay. It is true that our suites are housed in an adjacent, recently renovated building which is clearly stated on our website and something which is common both to Svalbard and to other hotels. The distance is very short and we find...

Rooms were nice, but we got two single beds instead of a queen. The staff are all really nice and helpfull. We were disappointed about the food, twice in a row they had the same soup of the day, and the other options were only junk food. We were only able to eat at the bar as the restaurant was...

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your time here on Svalbard., always great to hear how people find how helpful our staff are. Twin beds that are joined together to form a double bed are quite common in Scandinavia rather than a stand-alone bed, this can always be arranged in advance. The soup of the day is...

Only 5Km from Longyearbyen airport. Shoes must be left in the entrance as usual in Svalbard. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Rooms not very big but warm, clean and cosy. Breakfast is excellent with lot of choices. Restaurant ( Julebord buffet) had plenty of cold, warm and dessert choices. I liked this hotel .

We were in Longyearbyen for one night prior to joining an Expedition ship for an Arctic adventure, and Radisson Blu was the hotel where our group was to meet... so we selected it as the place to also spend the night. There are a number of other accommodation options in this town..... the most Northern town in the World.... but...

This is a very nice hotel with an exceptional location in the town centre of Longyearbyen. The hotel is quite modern and stylish. As in many other hotels in Longyearbyen, you need to take of your shoes when entering the hotel (unfortunately not all visitors respects this tradition which results in wet floor and socks from time-to-time). The breakfast, served...

Room 101-123, odd numbers, is placed in the cellar with a view upwards to the parking lot. Avoid these rooms. The shower runs all over the floor, and the drain is located on the highest level.
