This review is for the property Jhallong River Camp ( actually called Green Island SAMPAT.AGARWAL) as written in the Property Card. The review is based on my and my family's experience. I booked the hotel via their agent Subhasish Sarkar(C/O Debesh Chandra Sarkar),who took Rs.4500/-(Ref:ITH5848763) and the Hotel(run by ShankarDa) offered first some UP room and then when we objected...

Horrible experience I have faced at Jhalong River camp.I have stayed there on 10th of January'16 at Fulvetta tent.Though it is mentioned as Luxury tent, the tent is worst than Grade D hotel. All the tent is dirty and wet.Very bad smell for wet cloth is irritating you throughout the days. There is no sign of even a little maintenance...

Overall the place is wonderful. Food is really good. I stayed in Jhalong river camp during October-2015. The only problem here is the camps. These camps were never rectified after they have been installed. Almost all the camps are in a dirty and un-maintained condition. During rain we found our rooms and even some portions of our beds got wet...

Our second visit to WBFDC's Jhallong River Camp with family, the first being with friends in July 2014... the reason clear enough why we revisited. Hospitality was one of the reasons for which my husband & I took our family this time. The premises are absolutely natural & comfortable tent stays by such natural wonder couldn't get better. The tents...

This Jungle river camp is located in between wild jungle and river Jhallong. Beautiful surroundings coupled with stream of river Jhallong made our trip amazing. Location is excellent. So helpful are the staffs. But it need little maintenance to retain its charm. Accommodation is average but the beauty of surroundings attracts everyone.

Recently we visited JHALONG River camp of WBFDC, a very beautiful place just beside the river except the tents which this camp provides as accommodation. Tents were extremely dirty, smelling badly. Found wet floor carpet and water dripping from tent roof. Never thought of such a pathetic experience in a government property!!

We stayed there for 2 nights, although after the first night thought of going to any other place in the world. The condition of the tent was HORRIBLE. Water dripping from the tent-roof. Bed sheets and towels are torn and filthy. Geyser is there for show. Racks are there in the dressing compartment, only to be found broken on the...

Well, it's perfect for Honeymooners or Group of Friends. We really enjoyed a lot, specially a day away from busy city life. Had barbeque and campfire. An awesome experience to stay in camp though having the basic city life necessities. Service is really good and the members are really helpful. The environment and the place looks awesome.

We visited the Jhallong river camp around the end of January. The nature , the silence , atmosphere left us overwhelmed. There are about 10-11 tents camped beside the Jaldhaka river.Tents are comfortable, spacious , attached with bathrooms fitted with modern amenities.Just in front of the tent , the river is flowing through the rocks. On the other side, there is the...
