In the chaos of kalimpong, Deolo is a peaceful place. Very well maintained lodge. Price is slightly on higher side but its worth your money. Very neat and clean. You have to take advanced booking as usually people love staying here than in kalimpong.

Although its a Govt. properties but its very well maintain outside and inside. Food is also good. But room service took a lot of time to serve. It's a well maintained Govt. Tourist Lodge. The rooms are good and clean. Food is good. The staffs are well mannered and prompt in their service. I have only mentioned about the lodge and not about the garden, views, lawn, huge outer area of the great property. Nothing to say about this. It is a superbly maintained property and probably... Our group of friends and family had a great holiday between May 25 and 28 th at the Deolo Hill Top Tourist Lodge managed by the Gorkha Territorial Administration. Bookings are made from Gorkha Bhavan in Salt Lake Kolkata and their office at Kalimpong. What surprised me most was the extremely well-maintained outdoors which seem to have been planned to... More

Excellent place, visited during March end, weather was good but the surrounding peaks were not visible due to fog. December is the best time to visit to experience the picturesque surroundings of the place. Situated on top of the hill near Kalimpong, Rooms are spacious but dimly lit, Food quite good, location simply awesome. A big garden with open park... More

Awesome location far away from croud in Kalimpong main city. I think you will get the best view of Kachenjungha from here. It look like a castle and maintained by government. Huge property and also have a playground in front. Rooms and foods are average.

Trying to cover my experience in bullet points quickly . As I find most of the other reviews are kind of overwhelmed with the garden and lacks information on the Lodge itself , I will try to put as much information I can on the accommodation and fooding rather than surrounding environment and garden. Location :- 1. This lodge is... More
