we stayed in the hotel for10th and 11 feb. in selection of roomlimted choise waqs avaialble. matress was not comfertable. bath room was not clean rather it was shabby and very very congested and small. food was good but very spicy. the vegetables served was not cost effective. if you are charging 250/- per plate unlimed thali you can not...

Visited Rangoli retreat Matheran & this hotel was indeed Ok Ok average sort of, The interiors and the outdoors are just about Ok nothing fabulous .. the staff was courteous & food is good but this is pure veg resort hence non veg lovers will not find this worth staying or eating, this is located close to the matheran market...

For good food ek number he,good location, hospility great,small hotel but enjoyable trip.Rooms r small but well maintained,swim pool is too small,disco room is big,indoor games good.Dining area also neat and clean but food is really awesome enjoyed.

Jain Food Excellent But Room Service And Rooms Are Ok Not So Good .Location Is Best . Near Railway Station. It Is Budget Hotel. Monsoon Season Is Good To Visit.Monkey Is Nusience Is Area. Value For Money Hotel. Swimming Pool Is For Name Sake . It Is Kids Pool.

This shall be an objective assessment and it shall start with the good which are the people. Their service attitude, their politeness and their friendliness are outstanding and also the (purely vegetarian) food which they serve and which was in our case included was phantastic. Rooms are good, need to have another table in the room alongside sofa as it would be more comfortable to eat and drink in the room, Rooms lack cleanliness, Swimming pool as shown in the pictures is totally opposite, need to maintain the pool. Should have better backup for Electricity as every now and then it went off every few...

The Good:- Food is one the best point of Rangoli, they have an interesting and yummiest, Vegetarian spread, right from Breakfast to Dinner. Simple yet tasty. This hotel has the best place in Matheran but they lack in cleanliness the room was so untidy and not properly clean rest the market is in walking distance from hotel. you would find the wild animals like snake monkey and sometimes creepy worms around the hotel

We booked for 2 nights, and I was not very sure looking at the photos. The room that we got was disappointing, depressing, dull, and no doubt wasn't worth 4500 rs./night. The room was painted to make it look good but furniture,AC and windows were showing sign of old and zero maintenance. Bathroom deserve special mention, it is as tiny...
