The adjacent Hotel Ashok also belongs to the same management and circle. This hotel is 20 -- 25 minute trek away from the Matheran Station. The hotel is well maintained, though the rooms can be improved a lot. Food is really good here.

The hotel is very far from the matheran station, hotel staff was helpful, the rooms were dirty and filthy, even the bedsheet was also dirty, food was also not soo good, so please think twice before booking in this hotel.

Irresponsible is the word I can match the staff of Bombay view to!! The manager me Gulab wasn't there and the affairs were in the hands of another guy who was completely inexperienced! The location is far off which infact I loved and that was the reason I chose this hotel. But apart from that, all was just impeccably down...

The second trip was not very enjoyable, as the couple rooms are too small, beds are very hard to sleep, very basic room & food is very oily. Also the place is very crowed with all Gujarati people who talk very loudly all around.

Have been going to this hotel for a long time (almost 20-25 visits until now). Being a frequent traveler to Matheran and having tried 6-8 hotels (lodging and boarding), I feel qualified and confident that Bombay View is the best choice and would remain my favorite for many many years to come. The services and the quality of food have...

I had very bad experience of staying in this hotel. They do not provide good service (forget about better). you can see the photographs of bedsheets and the bathing water provided by them during our last visit in 2015. The property is almost at the end of the matheran.
