I don't normally review unless I have a fantastic experience, unfortunately my experience with the Westin has left such a lasting bad impression that I feel the need to warn people not to waste their money. I will begin this experience with some background on myself, I have lived in Columbus for almost 10 years and the Westin has always... More

I stay at here every month due to its proximity to the office and preferred hotel chain status. The last two times, I've had the inability to connect to wifi. The last time, I spent over an hour on the phone with their ISP's customer service for them to say they can't figure it out and I'd have to switch... More

The Westin Hotel downtown Columbus Ohio was the hotel recommended to guests attending a family wedding late Oct 2016 at this hotel. I reserved 3 rooms for my family. We were traveling in from out of state with 4 children and 6 adults. I called on three different occasions to confirm rooms. Each time the staff person could only find... More

Small, tired-looking rooms are generally not the Westin's brand, but that's what you get here. Old buildings can be charming, and this one has possibilities, but the first thing that hit my eyes when entering the room was a decidedly un-charming old heating unit under a window covered by a shabby shade. Someone had ripped the decorative trim from the... More

I have stayed in my share of "historic" hotels in my life, not by choice, but where conferences were held. This was one of the better ones, but still not my choice of accommodations. When the atmosphere makes you feel that US Grant was in the room right before you, something is lost in the translation. This time I felt... More

It's a decent hotel. Older building and the hallways and rooms are showing a bit wear. Bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable. There seemed to be lots of outlets. I slept well. Would I stay here again? Location is not super near anything - unless you are here to visit the various offices and city buildings. The breakfast in the... More

The staff were very nice and accommodating. Hallways were dim. The room was small, dark and musty. Air vents were filthy. Bed was comfortable. The rate was excessive for what was delivered. I would not stay here again.

I attended a conference in Columbus, Ohio. The Westin is conveniently located near several trendy bars and restaurants. It was easy to walk everywhere I wanted to. My room was small but well decorated and cozy, and the price was quite reasonable. The amenities were high quality and the service attentive. I enjoyed my stay.

Dear WBowman: Thanks for staying with us while in Columbus, and for your review of our property. Some of our rooms are cozy, which is fairly common in a Historic Property, but I am so glad you found our service and amenities worked for this trip. I do hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you back in the... More
