We made reservations at this hotel. After driving 16 hours we arrived and were told that their computers were not working so they couldn't check us in. They confirmed that we had the reservation and we were paying cash but apparently, the clerk was incapable of doing anything

Hello I apologize for this inconvenient situation. This is very unexceptionable handling on our part. I just found out this morning that this happened by reading your message. I confirmed with the other manager and he did state that he was home in bed when he received the call from Brittany the night auditor. So he definitely was not in the office at this time.By the time he finally told her what to do she said you left. I am not sure how long you waited in the lobby. This is not our process, Brittany is new and our process was definitely communicated to her about our process in the event something like this happens. She will receive a corrective action (write up). Our process is to get the guest information copied and have the guest sign a piece of paper hand written explaining their room number and agreeing to the charges and get the guest to their room. The guest are then instructed to come back to the front desk at check out to clear up any left over charges and sign a printed registration card. Thank you for reaching out to me. I would like to ask you if you're in the area again to come visit us with a complementary say. Give us an opportunity to show you a great stay of Quality.
