Excellent place to stay friendly staff! I left an item in my room, and they graciously sent it to me! Would definitely recommend. Price was right. They might want to do a little maintenance on some of their heating and plumbing issues, but we would stay there again.

Great hotel. Very clean. Comfortable beds and great staff. Breakfast was very good. Very conveniently located off highway. Relaxing and quiet hotel. I would recommend for any tired traveler. Coffee and food items are all good quality. The room was clean and towels were decent quality .

Rooms were clean, spacious, quiet, and bed was very comfortable. Is a great value with very pleasant staff. We love supporting locally owned businesses especially when they're so personable. Their tiki bar was a pleasant surprise with a great sounding band.

This hotel is great. The staff is friendly the room was nice, it featured a kind size bed and sofa and a little table for dinning. There is a bar off of the lobby which serves food and has a pool table. I thought the price was more than fair...this is a booming area for the gas and oil workers...

On a 2 day trip we stopped here for a 1 night stay. The building is older and dated. The front office staff were pleasant and the office itself was neat and clean. The entire place was non-smoking but the halls still smelled liked people used to be allowed to smoke there. The room itself did not smell like smoke...

Stopped to sleep while traveling - bathroom was small and I got locked inside it. The lady from the front desk could have cared less that I am chlostraphobic She had a very smart mouth on the other side of the door. There were no men around to get the door open. My husband had to do it. Worst $92...

My husband and I were driving to Illinois from the East coast. And it was 'a dark and stormy night'. We decided to stop kind of late and went to the usual places first because the are an known entity. But as luck would have it, other travelers on the 4th of July week end were thinking the same thing....

We stayed at this hotel for the Deerassic Classic and I was scared to see it after reading the bulk of reviews on here. I have to say that I was surprised that the hotel was not as bad as the reviews noted. Yes, it's old. Yes, it needs updated. Yes, it has a Tiki lounge but the room was...

This past weekend was the Jamboree in the Hills, it was late at night, I was en route to Indianapolis, Indiana, and needed a place for the night. All the hotels I called were full, though they all recommended the Southgate. The woman that answered the phone when I called said she'd definitely secure me a room. This is a...

The oil/gas industry has apparently created a boon for hotels in the Cambridge Ohio area and thus many are fully booked. After finding several hotels in the area booked, we decided to take a chance on this place. The lobby looked fine but the hallways and rooms were a disappointment. Fortunately everything looked clean and there were no objectionable odors...
