The premises for the B&B were quiet, peaceful and had an Australian garden setting - the room adjoined the main house but this was never of any issue. The vista was lovely and pastoral. The breakfast provided was more than substantial with a wide selection including cereals, dinner rolls, croissants, coffee, juice, yoghurt, slices of ham and wursts. The room itself included a Queen bed, ensuite bathroom, TV / Bluray player and a suitably extensive library of DVDs and reference books. Our hosts, Petra and Jeffery were a highlight and made the stay enjoyable and fun. All was more than suitable. One thought is that the premises are probably not suitable for a 3+ family, or for a couple not wishing to share a bed or for people towing a camper or caravan (limited flat parking space and narrow access roads leading to the property). The town of Victor Harbor is a short 10 minute drive away.

Lovely B&B on the outskirts of Victor Harbor. Room overlooks a stunning garden full of birds. Nice Hosts who provided us with a great continental style breakfast on the patio. They equipped us with maps & tips for Victor Harbor.
We saw some kangaroos on the way to their B&B.

My wife and I arrived quite late but it wasn't a problem for Jeffrey and Petra, who were very welcoming and hospitable. The weather was extremely windy but we could still see the beautiful view from our room. The house is set on a hill overlooking the north east and is surrounded by manicured gardens. The room was modern and clean, the bed comfy and the bathroom was large. We enjoyed a very nice breakfast inside, due to the weather and had a lovely chat, getting information about the area and our further travels. We'd love to visit again.

We made Austiny B&B our base for several day tours around Victor Harbor, McLaren Vale and several other attractions in the region. Petra & Jeff are the perfect hosts and their place is simply stunning. Their guests enjoy the rare balance of being personally cared for and still honor every piece of privacy. The place itself is a tranquil and pieceful garden setting with wide meandering views, which makes the breakfast even more rewarding than just the loaded table. And for those who have to work, the Wifi connection is also solid and free.

We will be back and strongly suggest to make more than just a stopover of Austiny B&B.

There are a lot of positives for the B&B. Its setting is rural and yet it is five minutes drive from the centre of Victor Harbour (you can watch the kangaroos grazing first thing in the morning from your bedroom window; nothing can beat this). The accommodation is set on a wonderful hill with great views and in a beautiful, well tended garden. The B&B is managed impeccably and unobtrusively by its owners and as there is only one guest room you are their exclusive guest! Both its owners are there to offer helpful advice, but in a very unforceful manner; we particularly appreciated this!

The room is not large, but has all the mod cons and more. It feels a little bit crammed because of the many things on offer. For example there is no need for both a desk and a table; by taking the latter out will liberate some space. The room is impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. We particularly liked the bathroom which was spacious and had an excellent shower. There is also a very fast wifi. There is a very nice communal lounge and breakfast is served in the covered patio; the views are unbeatable and you can spend hours watching the wildlife from your table.

We have only two small negative comments in relation to the B&B. The first is that there was no heating in the room. We were provided with an electric heater which was adequate, but we felt uncomfortable to leave it on whilst we were away or asleep. This meant that the room was very cold as the outside temperature was around 6 degrees during the night. The breakfast is continental as advertised, but we would have liked a bit more choice, for example in the breads. Having said that the owners are very flexible and accommodating. One morning we had to leave by 7 and had very little time for breakfast. As there is a mini fridge in the room we were provided with several breakfast items. The biscuits and chocolates in the room to accompany the tea were also appreciated.

Compared to other B&B we have stayed in S Australia this is amongst the best.

The house was in an idyllic location, set atop of the Inmann valley with birds, trees and paddocks all around. It was very clean and new and the owners were lovely. Breakfast was good, but the best part was enjoying the sound of birdsong in the morning. A great getaway!

Victor Harbor is a favourite holiday spot for our family and we needed a room overnight this time so chose Austiny because we like a quiet spot. Lovely room and breakfast with lovely hosts in a country location.

This quiet and extremely comfortable B&B is set in beautifully maintained gardens. The welcome was very friendly and the breakfast superb. One of the nicest places we stayed on a 3 week tour.

We only stayed in this beautiful place for one night, wish we have stayed longer. The property is among beautiful trees and plantations, great for bird watching. The compact room is cosy and has everything we need. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, giving us good advices of local attractions and routes plans. Great place for a couple or sole travellers.

This is a small, compact and very well appointed B&B. it is set up behind Victor Harbour and faces over valley and hills. There is a beautiful garden with birds galore. We were welcomed warmly by Petra and given very good advice for a restaurant as well as helpful advice and maps for the trip back home. Down in Victor Harbour the walk around Granite Island is well worth it - restored vegetation, the possibility of whales, and stunning granite boulders edging the island. Victor Harbour is now an odd town and so this gem of a B&B was a spot of great beauty and comfort on our journey.
