We only stayed in this beautiful place for one night, wish we have stayed longer. The property is among beautiful trees and plantations, great for bird watching. The compact room is cosy and has everything we need. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, giving us good advices of local attractions and routes plans. Great place for a couple or sole travellers.

Enjoyed a lovely, relaxing 3 night stay. A well fitted out room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and gorgeous views of the landscaped garden and rural vista. Hosts were friendly, engaging and informative. Each morning the continental breakfast table setting was very welcoming, with plenty of choice. So comfortable we could easily have stayed longer.

We were supposed to go to Kangaroo Island, but the ferry closed due to severe weather. We ended up finding Austiny B+B as a last-minute diversion on Booking.com. Lucky that we did - it was great, and one of our favorite nights of a 14-day international holiday. Pros: 1. Great hosts - Petra and Jeffrey were the perfect balance of attentive and helpful (giving local recommendations, directions, taking the time to find out what we wanted to see and do), while also letting us have privacy. Segue to point 2... 2. Quiet and private, despite being a B+B. Room is self-contained (has its own bathroom), only “share” area for breakfast - but since you’re the only guests, it’s kind of a moot point. 3. Great location. It’s 5 min from Victor Harbor - it’s signs, walks, and cafes; not too far from Urimburra Wildlife sanctuary; and is a 30-45 min drive to Cape Jervis (ferry). 4. The views. Just a beautiful property. Cons: 1. Garbage weather, but, what are you gonna do? It was unlucky to have plans change, but we couldn’t be more pleased with our Plan B.

We stayed here for one night during the Rock ‘n’ Roll Festival in September 2018. This was purely coincidental, however we were very happy because the noise level was zero compared to staying in town with the crowds. SO QUIET! It was very cold weather but our room was very cozy with the air conditioner on. We turned it off quite soon after we arrived as it was fine without it. The bathroom is quite new and very well laid out. The fan/light/heater in the bathroom is great. There is tank water but no problem with supply, but be aware of this when showering. Australia is a very dry continent and water wastage is just plain dumb! There is a TV and DVD with a drawer full of a variety of DVDs to suit all tastes. The bed is comfy with convenient lighting which is within arm’s length. A lot of little touches make this a great place to stay. There is a jug and tea and coffee making facilities and some snacks (complimentary). As you are the only guests you basically have the place to yourself. After check in it’s totally private, unless you choose to knock on your host’s door for something. The gardens are amazingly well laid out and as it’s a B&B a very satisfying continental breakfast is served by the host in a closed in veranda area the next morning at a time prearranged with the hosts. Perhaps we could stay longer next time. We even saw a kangaroo while we were having breakfast.

We thank Jeff and Petra for sharing their beautiful and peaceful home with us. We found it very relaxing, enjoying the good food while able to watch the birds in the garden. They were so helpful in advising us on so many walks in the area - definitely worth the visit

This is a small, compact and very well appointed B&B. it is set up behind Victor Harbour and faces over valley and hills. There is a beautiful garden with birds galore. We were welcomed warmly by Petra and given very good advice for a restaurant as well as helpful advice and maps for the trip back home. Down in Victor Harbour the walk around Granite Island is well worth it - restored vegetation, the possibility of whales, and stunning granite boulders edging the island. Victor Harbour is now an odd town and so this gem of a B&B was a spot of great beauty and comfort on our journey.

Every little detail was thought of for our arrival on a very cold, blustery afternoon. Petra had warmed our room prior to our arrival ensuring we were warm after a day of touring. Clean and spacious with plenty of little extras throughout our room and ensuite made for a very comfortable and cosy stay. A delicious breakfast was provided whilst we took in the gorgeous surrounds with abundant bird life. Petra and Jeffrey were lovely and very informative about their local area. We loved our stay!

The room was excellent, clean and comfortable, breakfast was fantastic and the hosts were very welcoming, friendly and hospitable. The room has an amazing view over the garden and towards the hills beyond. There was an abundance of bird life in the garden and a comfortable seat outside on the patio to sit with a glass or wine or cup of coffee. We had only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer.

Austiny B&B is owed by a lovely European couple which takes pride of their garden and their beautiful house. The room is spotless clean and the location is breathtaking. Do not even think If you should book this accommodation - do it! You will 100% not regret it. We stayed for only one night but we felt relaxed and possibly wished we could have stayed for much much longer. The room is super cozy and the view is just stunning. The breakfast tops is off! 10/10 from us. We loved it ! The only thing I missed was a pet on the property. So much space but no pets 😉😉😉
