After a few nights camping at Brachina Gorge with 5 kids we had need of a shower and a comfy bed at short notice and Wendy was able to secure us two rooms. The place is lovely, modern and well appointed. The adjacent old building is a peak into yesteryear. Check out the fabulous kitchen. The surrounding area is beautiful and well worth exploring - loads of great walks. It’s a magical part of the world.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. When booking, the woman taking our booking took great care in ensuring other members of our party were in nearby rooms. Rooms were very spacious, could park our car just outside so that was handy. Minimal cooking facilities, it would have been nice to be able to make ourselves bacon and eggs in the morning ...but no stove or burners. Bed comfortable and warm. Lovely double shower, however no door on bathroom for toilet privacy.
I loved the gardens outside, all planted out with vegetables, celery, tomatoes, herbs, rhubarb, capsicum. Plus fruit trees. Pity the bistro wasn’t open but we were able to get food at the nearby cafe and hotels. IGA supermarket just over the road.

We had a standard loft apartment, which was very well equipped but lacked any cooking means beyond a microwave. The bed was a bit soft for me, but the folk in the other rooms thought it was fine. Cool night outside, but lovely and warm inside.

The big issue is the bathroom. Don't get me wrong, it's big, double shower heads and a toilet. But no door. It's upstairs, away from the living area but right next to the big bed. You really need to be pretty comfortable with your travelling companion for obvious reasons. Also, families travelling with a child need to be careful too. Having said that, we'd go back, and plan to do so soon

We stayed for 2 nights in a Loft #4-3
These are very new , clean and spacious with their own undercover car park- needed in 30° weather.
The bedroom , upstairs , has ceiling fan and is spacious with open style
(No door ) large ensuite.
BBQ provided, but need to ask at reception. Lots of herbs grown outside - nice touch. Close to town .
Thanks for a pleasant stay .

So glad I found this place! I Stayed in a ground floor apartment. Very spacious, clean and quiet. Upon entry is the kitchen/dining/living area. Around the corner is the bedroom, which has no common wall with the neighbour, as behind the bedroom is a massive luxurious bathroom. After a very long day of driving, it was so great to have somewhere almost like home to stay. I can totally see how people would base themselves in such a great property to visit Flinders Ranges and ride the railway. I certainly plan to do just that in the future. So much better than staying in Port Augusta. Quorn is quiet though, but if you think ahead and bring what you need, all good. There is a small IGA, some cafes for lunch, but nothing for dinner. There are a couple of awesome looking pubs though (but was too tired to check them out this time). Quorn is a very historic little place.

Booked one night in their loft studio room and was so very happy with the quality, comfort and hospitality that a week later we were back stopping for another night to break up the final leg of our trip home.
The rooms are a good size and very clean. Bed is very comfortable and the whole complex is compact but designed for guest privacy and convenience.
You can walk to the pub for dinner or a local cafe for breakfast. The local supermarket is also a short walk away so you can grab those essentials like cool drinks, bread milk etc.
Lovely town, very welcoming and a great base to explore the area.
Highly recommended

This place is perfectly situated to get to hikes in the area. The owners were fantastic, incredibly helpful with suggested hikes and any other bits of local information needed, they really went above and beyond to help us during our stay.
The rooms are super comfortable, the beds are sublime!
I would highly recommend staying here

What a lovely place. Wendy and Sally welcomed us enthusiastically, showed us to our rooms and helped us hook up our electric car to their charger. The place was spacious, comfortable and modern. Thoroughly recommended. Good luck getting the café up and running again.
Without your place with the charger, we could not have done the Flinders

I thik that the ground floor apartments are just that! Ground floor apartments with full facilities, whereas the budget alternative seems to be just a ordinary 'motel' room,
