Wonderful few days at the Limani, clean, tidy, great location and the most friendly and accommodating hosts, Fiona and Gary. Would highly recommend for family and couples.
Rooms are well equipped with cutlery, cooking utensils and appliances all appear very new. Beds comfy and bathroom recently renovated.
Only 10-15min walk to the jetty.
Will definitely be back.

Staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we were happy with our accommodation and can only congratulate Gary, the Manager on the customer service we received. Although the property does not look appealing from the outside the interior of our comfort studio was spacious, clean, well furnished and modern, although a small table to eat meals on would have been helpful. Situated right on the sea shore with great views over Boston Bay and a 10 minute walk into the town centre. It was a real joy to stay here and would not hesitate in staying in this property again when next in Port Lincoln.

We booked in New Years Eve 2019 and were very surprised at the quality of the Limani Motel 50 Lincoln Highway Port Lincoln. Fresh clean comfortable bed, air conditioning and panoramic views of Boston Bay from our balcony was a wonderful bonus for the Fire Works display. Was also surprised with an unexpected continental breakfast. There are 21 rooms available with cooking facilities, tea and coffee, fridge and complimentary water, plus free wifi.

We paid $250.00 per night a considerable amount. We booked for 5 nights We received an email a couple of days prior to our arrival on Thursday that rooms are not serviced on weekends. We were told it is stated on Booking.com but we can not see that stated. Only that there may be changes due to covid. It seens every man and his dog are using the covid excuse. So we stayed Thursday departing Tuesday. We were going to cancel and book elsewhere but all comparable places were sold out. Saturday and Sunday no room servicing and on the Monday the kitchen bins were emptied but the bathroom bin was not emptied. The carpet was not cleaned either. Everything else was done however. We liked the room it was exceptional it's only that we would have liked room servicing each day. Don't blame covid my wife works with covid patients almost every day and the last time was 35 patients. We feel rooms can be cleaned especially with a $250 per night price tag and if not offer a cheaper rate for non service days. Will we stay again. No sorry we don't like last minute surprises or no room servicing at $250 per night we will next time book a cabin. Staff are ultra friendly however.

Always hard to respond to these type of reviews. Luckily as you see ,from previous reviews, they are a rarity. As you said you were advised 48 hours before you arrived that the rooms are not serviced on the weekends. At no stage did we blame Covid. A majority of Apartments are serviced only on a weekly basis. As you said our staff our wonderful. This includes helping you out with anything you may need on the weekend. Towels, shampoo etc or emptying a bin that may have been overlooked for whatever reason. The disappointing aspect of this review is that our receptionist said that you had an extended conversation with her saying what a wonderful stay you were having. We are the highest rated Motel in Port Lincoln for a reason. In regards to not staying again that would be your loss. We pride ourselves on the huge number of repeat customers that we have. Customers, who if not satisfied with anything, let us know while they are staying. Not when they leave. We will always bend over backwards to satisfy our guests. Happy Travels, Gary Manager

The one night, not camping due to weather, left it a bit late, even in winter I would recommend PRE BOOKING!!! Everywhere was booked out even caravan cabin parks, this was one place that looked decent that was left in Port Lincoln, 2 rooms left $230 for the standard room and $290 (we got it for $280) for the deluxe spa, we got the deluxe spa, due to being the only night we will be off the ground. The spa (in the middle of the room) out looking the bay, but it had no extractors (fans for steam) even the hot plate in the kitchen had no extractors, we had to open all the windows and doors, we where terrified about the fire alarm was going to go off, for cooking bacon 😂. Great service though but needs to be more communication throughout the hotel between reception staff and managers, and the reception staff and house keepers. We arrived around 5pm, wet, raining, wanting to just get in a warm room. Not only was the room $280 but we had to put down a $150 deposit, cash or credit ONLY, we had to go across the street and get cash out on the rain and wait for 30min before everything was sorted. Leaving we had ro wait for the receptionist to go to our room and check the room her self (still waiting to leave) no communication between house keepers, for our deposit to be returned. Besides that on the level 3 we had a great view and a nice balcony, for once on our trip we where sweating in the spa because it was so hot.

Hi Madeline, I would strongly recommend you stick to camping. I may be wrong but you come across as a very inexperienced traveler. You arrived in our town in the middle of Covid. Our town, as you noted, was completely full. We gave you the room you selected at a discounted price. We knew you had nowhere else to stay but chose to do that for you. This may help you in the future. Whenever you book in to a Motel, CHECK THE BOOKING CONDITIONS. Ours clearly states on arrival we either hold $150 on a debit card or we hold $150 cash. It is common practice in most Motels. Our Spa Room is recognized as one of the best in South Australia and while your complaints have been noted, it is the first time we have received these in any form. In relation to us personally inspecting your room before releasing your bond. At the time of your checkout our housekeepers had not arrived. Having said that we , as Managers, like to inspect the room ourselves. This negates any doubt if damage has been done to the room. We wish you well with your future travels and I hope this advice holds you in good stead the next time you decide to have a night off from the tent and stay in a luxurious Spa Room in a Motel in peak tourist season, Cheers Gary Manager

The Limani is in a good convenient area about 5 mins walk from the centre of Port Lincoln. It is a pretty basic type of accomodation right on the cliff with good views of the bay however right on the main road so the traffic noise is quite bad. We had a studio room which was on the smaller size; it had the tiniest two seater couch and then a huge bench/work area (which is not required) and a small two seater table and chairs. The kitchen was OK - again very sparsly furnished. The bed was also very small. This place could be so much nicer if some thought went into it, a larger comfy couch and a few more home from home luxories would be superb. The car park was a nightmare, there are 2 levels and our 4 x 4 wouldn't fit in the lower level and they really need to ask smaller cars to park down there and also to aks people to actually park in one bay not straddling two! Also the laundry area is also now off limits due to Covid however there is a launderette over the road. I don't think I would stay here again.

We love it when take the time to give our Motel a review. It is generally a true reflection of the guest. Our Motel is currently the highest rated Motel in Port Lincoln. We were also the recipient of a Tripadvisor excellence award for excellence last year. We have spent over a million dollars to bring the rooms up to the highest standard. I am proud to say our customer service is second to none. I could spend the next twenty minutes replying to your "complaints". I choose, however, to let the last twelve months of high quality reviews speak for themselves. As for you thinking you may not stay here again please contact me personally. I will gladly provide you the names of the other Motels in our beautiful city. Heaven help them!

Firstly I would like to say how beautiful the rooms are and a lovely view. Everything is so perfect then we read all the rules and were too worried to move. I have stayed in many establishments around the world (even 7 star) and have never encountered such before. I always do the dishes but I wonder how many people do a lick and a promise therefore we rewashed the clean dishes as we were unsure if previous guests had done. Leaving it to trust guests in this COVID time is a worry. A motel you should feel at home (with respect to other guests) so I wondered why the need for friendly reminders everywhere which actually made us feel uncomfortable. Shower was amazing - so classy and very comfortable bed. Receptionist was extremely pleasant and helpful. Only thing to note is with a 4wd with roof tent, you can only park in top car park and very hard to swing it in. Maybe, small cars should use underground car park leaving the larger cars for the top. Only a suggestion.

Great Motel . We had a really lovely stay in a sizeable room with a small balcony ideal for breakfast each day . The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom was spotless . The Managers and staff were very helpful and a credit to the business . Just a short walk into the Port main streets and foreshore makes this an ideal location and i would highly recommend to stay here

Beautiful location in wonderful renovated rooms with plenty of space. The view from our room was amazing )waking up to a dolphin swimming by was a highlight) and the staff were helpful and friendly. We had a 4 person room with my family and there was plenty of space to move around. The bathroom shower was super hot with good pressure. The on-site parking was easy to use and free. The complimentary wifi was fast easy to access.

If you’re looking to visit Port Lincoln I highly recommend the Limani.

Very happy with the room. Access from the front with a wheel chair with a little bit of a lip to get inside. Path is ok to get fown little steep. They provided a shower chair which was handy for my dad who is unwell to sit on while showering. One less thing we needed to bring.
Walking distance to the town and shop at the front of hotel.
Very happy with hotel and will stay there again.
