Detailed Reviews
Me and my family were travelling from QLD to WA and stopped here for a night passing through and let me say this was one of the best places we stayed throughout the whole journey. Staff were so friendly and helpful, room was clean and had lots of space for us family of 4! Heater worked so nicely , electric blankets! We were so cozy for the whole time we stayed and throughout the night! And the food was absolutely amazing! So delicious and big sized meals! Which was beautiful. I 100% recommend staying here , very much worth the money :)

We stopped in Peterborough on our way through to the outback and stayed at the Roundhouse motel. The motel is popular with construction workers and truck drivers all of whom were friendly and quiet, even for a Friday night. The motel is located just out of the Action on the main street and is well hidden from any road noise.
The rooms were clean enough but not spectacular with the carpets needing some TLC. The beds were comfortable enough but the layout wasn't great and nor was the furnishings.
The shower pressure was seriously lacking and a usual 3 min shower was extended to 10 just to get the soap off.
Over all it wasn't bad per se but at $150/night we thought it was over priced.

Motel is located on entry to town a couple of hundred metres from town. There is a pathway so it can be safely walked.
Paid $149 at book in & was allocated Room 18.
Had booked a Standard queen room.
It was located out the back of property, so there was no road noise. The grounds are in need of some care. Things like Potholes in the gravel, not well cared for gardens, made the property looked unloved.
Our room had an entry door that was a slider with gauze door as well.. There were with heavy curtains across the door. There were small holes in them. No sheers, so it was all dark or no privacy.
The room was pretty basic & uninviting. Extremely noisy air con & fridge, which, if used thro the night, made it impossible to sleep. The bed was comfortable. There was a table & 2 chairs.
Ensuite is small with on the wall squeeze type gel & shampoo. Water pipes are very noisy. There is an openable window
Limited powerpoints made it difficult to recharge our various gadgets.
The wifi was excellent.
Had dinner at the motel restaurant the second night. A nice varied menu, of which we chose meals of salmon & flounder with some wine & thought the quality of food very good & service particularly excellent.
So really a mixed bag & as we found by comparing the acccommodation with the rest of the trip, not great value. Certainly would not stay there again

Rooms in U shape around a large central parking area so less noisy than most. A paved path makes moving suitcases less cumbersome - rest of area is gravel. Dining room is near reception area. Room was spacious with double bed, sofa and TV, had electric blanket on bed, a fridge, cupboard and tea/coffee making supplies. A basic room, somewhat aging but functional and more than enough for a one night stay. Just outside of the town so quiet and less traffic. Breakfast and dinner was great - good selection for breakfast and a well cooked and generous main meal. You choose the main meal and then select from buffet the vegetables and side dishes. Comfortable stay. Thank you.

A cut above most budget motels. Don't be put off by the dated exterior. Away from the main roads so very quiet. We had a large well appointed carpeted room, with glass door to the garden and the pool. King bed, two comfy chairs and coffee table, another table and two further chairs. Big TV with all channels plus ABC iView, SBS on Demand, etc. Dated bathroom but clean, good shower pressure and hot water. Linen and towels good quality. Dispenser shower gel, body lotion, shampoo so no wasteful little soaps. Microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery, teatowel and detergent. Very clean pleasant and helpful staff.

This place has no in integrity. I booked a room at at the Roundhouse Motel over six months ago as part of a well planned trip. Today, one week ahead of my stay, they called me to tell me that my booking was cancelled because they now had a coach tour arriving on the same night and needed extra rooms. Not only is this cancellation unethical, it is exceptionally rude to reject an existing customer to be able to make more money from a larger group.
Don't trust this establishment to honour your booking! They don't care about their customers at all.

Clean, comfortable and air conditioned room. Parking outside of room. Slightly pricey restaurant menu prices but food tasted good.
Unfortunately, upon entering our room, the smell of overpowering cleaning product to mask the smell of smoke was horrible. I had to open every window and door to air the room out.
Otherwise a pleasant enough experience and friendly management.

The hotel was clean and the service friendly. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quite in the evening aside from the first night when there was disturbance from the owner quarters with kids arguing.
The housekeeping was strange with bins being empited and towels replaced but the bed not made and dirty crockery and cutlery not replaced.
The location can be walked from the main street and has good parking.

Our room was welcoming and very well maintained. The Queen size bed was comfortable and the carpet was clean. The bathroom was not as spacious but certainly well maintained. With the provision of toaster and microware, our room was really quite self sufficient. The Receptionist and staff were very helpful and polite. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Motel to family and friends. And most certainly we would book again. Janet

We stayed on a trip from Perth to Brisbane. It was fine. There was an issue with the first room they gave us but they moved us and the lady on the desk was happy and pleasant. Good size room. Best thing was our dog was welcomed. Only small niggle was nasty smell of septic tank outside the room (29) from what sounded like a leach pump.
