Stayed for the weekend to checkout the new hotel. Booked a city view balcony room as river came at significant extra cost and not available on SA Great voucher scheme. Our room was lovely and comfortable and well laid out. The modern bathroom layout with two large sliding doors closing it off from the bedroom section. It is all nice, but for the price it will need further training of staff to reach its potential. Cleaning staff took our towels but forgot to replace. Cleaning behind the bathroom vanity and basin (the sliding door) must be added to the daily schedule as it takes all the spills and splashes from the basin. Checkout staff accepted our card and checked that we had paid but did not engage in the small talk of enquiring of our stay etc that the really good hotels do so well. It was a little disappointing the house guests don’t have any priority in the restaurant as we were unable to secure a table at either lunch or dinner. If the staff can keep up with the maintenance to keep it looking like new and receive some more training and supervision, The Bridgeport should do very well.

From the minute you walk into the foyer you know that you are going to have a very relaxing stay
Staff are so helpful. Facilities, service and high standard of cleanliness,
The restaurant offers an exstensive menu although I must admit the serves are massive maybe a larger choice sgare/starters would be benificial to the smaller eater.
The room service menu is good and overall I found nothing to complain about a perfect 2 day rest and 45 mins from Adelaide perfect

Location excellent, room very clean and great views.
Pool area too small, towels should be available on a trolley in plain sight not tucked away in the gym.
Stayed 2 nights but our room wasn’t serviced despite putting sign on door.
Dining experience not good, had main course delivered while just starting to eat entrees. Breakfast was a long wait of about an hour from ordering. Dinner menu needs upgrading, choices are very mundane, not enough fish or seafood and more daily specials would be good.
The Reception staff were friendly but not professional, this area of the hotel really doesn’t give a good image. Staff and surroundings need a good overhaul to create a more enticing and professional atmosphere. A bit of work to do if your going to market this as an ‘international’ hotel.

Good clean room, but booked for 3 people and room only set for 2. Sofa bed still a sofa. Called reception and was told to pull the bed out ourselves and that the linen was in the cupboard. When paying $300 for a room, you expect it to be setup for the number of guests booked. Everything was set for only 2 people, ie two cups, two mugs etc etc. I understand that mistakes happen etc, thats not the issue. Issue is the "Fix it youself", no offer of "i'll send someone up".

Every two months we hold our Murray Bridge Friendship Force General Meeting at a different suitable venue with-in the Murray Bridge Region and considering that our end of June meeting coincides with the Bridgeport long awaited opening I was overwhelmed with the friendly co-operation and organisation to have our group of 30 members experience the outstanding magnificent atmosphere and pleasant views from the River Room while contributing to the meeting. Even though the restaurant area was completely booked out, including several party gatherings in the main area , everything went smoothy, our delicious lunch prior to the meeting was exceptionally top quality which was evident by the local produce that was used in the kitchen where ever possible .
On meeting completion the members dispersed except for the 7 of us members who had made reservation’s to stay and spend the night in a Riverside Balcony room to make the experience complete , firstly we relaxed in the “Wish You Were Here Lounge” enjoying a few drinks while the two musicians played in the background . Our enjoyable evening meal was quick and efficient in the Rivergum restaurant plus coffee’s before we all went back to our respective comfortable well appointed rooms .. great TV .. comfortable bed .. great strong Wi-Fi ..complete with extremely well noise insulation from any exterior activity traffic etc .. restful peaceful night. Finally to complete a perfect new experience within the hotel .. was the delicious variety of some local South Australian regional sourced produce breakfast prepared to perfection .. Why does it tick all the boxes .. locals are fully supported .. staff .. food .. (Fleurieu Milk – Barrossa Meats – Little Hampton shower shampoo’s plus heaps more) .. we couldn’t fault any of the experiences during our time there as we all had open minds combined with normal expectations while visiting a completely brand new premium complex .. if you haven’t been there yet .. try it !! … * Murray Bridge * We Love It !!

The Bridgeport Hotel is a fabulous one stop place to stay - with plenty of room to sit and drink and share a great view of the river - and a lovely restaurant area. Our room was beautiful and our bathroom shower area was stunning - we will recommend to everyone who is passing by from Melbourne and we will spend some time and return ourselves in the future. Thank you Bridgeport Hotel for a lovely stay.

Booked this hotel for its location to river. Room was spacious. View was ok, probably better from higher floor. Although we had booked and paid for breakfast the dining room was booked out on sunday but there were tables outside or in the lounge room. If travelling with elderly persons be advised there are no hand rails in shower or toilet (in our room anyway). Staff were reasonably friendly. Food was good. Breakfast worth the extra $

We stayed at the Bridgeport Hotel last week and have to say what an excellent experience it was! The accommodation was large and comfortable with all the amenities you could want. The bar and wait staff were very efficient and helpful and kept busy cleaning etc when there were no customers which is great to see...so many other venues staff are happy to stand around playing with their phones but not at The Bridgeport! The food was delicious, such a great variety on the menu and we made sure to try something different each night....compliments to the chefs and their team!
We would highly recommend this a s a place to visit and / or stay!
