Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Such a neat and tidy park. Murray Bridge is only a short drive but far enough away for peace and quiet. The river is so close with great views. The managers were helpful and recommended places to visit and eat out in the local area. They have cheap mini golf too. We'll definitely be back.

We recently stayed at a Avoca del caravan park over the weekend, and the owners went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. When our car battery went flat, they didn’t hesitate to lend a hand. They quickly provided jumper cables, helped us get the car started. Their kindness and willingness to help, even outside of their usual responsibilities, truly stood out. It’s rare to find such attentive and thoughtful service, and it made our stay feel even more welcoming. Thanks guys

My son and I were quite comfortable staying here in one of the standard cabins.
Linen was clean and appliances all worked. Water not suitable for drinking though so be prepared to retrieve from water tank or buy some.
Quiet spot about 6 mins drive from Murray bridge centre. Small reserve across the way with some pleasant views.

We arrived after travelling all day with 4 children to find the receptionist had booked us in for the wrong month!
Was told that this was an easy mistake to make.
Only thing available was a 1 room for us with a bed and bunks but no bedding. No toilet and no bathroom we would need to use the public ones.
The receptionist was unconcerned by the fact we had 4 small children in a hot car waiting whilst they were parked out what had happened to our booking, and only offered that it was her mistake but easily done.
Couldn’t not recommended this place any less, not only because of their incompetence but also there significant lack of empathy or assistance offered!

Very lovely tidy relaxing park. We stayed on a powered site on level 1 with an uninterrupted view of the river. The birdlife is amazing ! Amenities were very clean. Staff are super friendly. A short drive to Monarto Zoo which was a fantastic day out

We were on a powered site on the lower level for 6 nights and were quite satisfied with our stay. Reception is tiny, so there’s no shop to speak of, but the manager who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The ablutions block was clean and well maintained. We were especially impressed with the camp kitchen. The weather was a little unkind, so we used it a number of times and it was excellent!

An older but extremely well maintained caravan park. We had riverfront sites which truly added to the experience. Clean facilities including a camp kitchen and dining room. Helpful staff who were unobtrusive especially at cleaning times. A little out of the way and off the beaten track but worth seeking out

We stayed for 4 nights on a powered van site and it was lovely. Facilities were clean and tidy, dated but better than most new places I have seen. The new owners were friendly and very accommodating. Great to have a chat with. The beautiful sunsets over the river were just spectacular. This place is a beautiful spot and we will definitely be back when we come this way again. The only thing that would make it better is to have the permanent residents in an area of their own away from the holidayers not in the middle of the park but that's just my opinion. Apart from that can't fault the place.

We Stayed three nights, our second stay at this park. We invited my partners eldest son and his partner to join us for a days skiing. They arrived while we were out on the river and parked outside our van then cycled down to the river on our bikes after a few minutes and a fridge raid ! When we returned to the van and said our goodbyes we were charged $30. They had no intention of staying the night and had been in the park for a total of about 15 minutes !! Our car was down at the river. So they used our park. We agree they shouldn't have but since the owner noticed these strangers in and around our van it would have been bettter if she had asked them whether they were park guests or not and asked them to leave. Not charge us $30 when we had no idea they were even up at the van.We were told that no guests were allowed into the park at all. Not even to knock on a door ! This seems pretty unreasonable.

Me and my fiancé came to stay in murry bridge for a holiday, we stayed in this cabin. The lady seemed friendly at first, but after we got back from dinner me and my fiancé went to bed, a massive spider crawled against the wall so we killed it and as my fiancé got up to kill it I noticed he had lumps come up all over his back. We decided we no longer wanted to stay because of the allergic reaction, we went to the ladies house (which she told us to do if we had any problems) we gave her the key and asked for out money back as we only checked in 4 hours ago. She refused to give us the money back, and was very rude. We needed up having to drive home without the money because the lady refused. I would not go here, unless you want to get ripped off $130 which to be honest wasn't at all even worth it.
