We had a great overnight stay at the Oval Motel in winter. It's an older style motel but was so comfy and cosy and well appointed. We qere able to park right outside our room, and it was really quiet. Lots of nice little touches like real milk instead of UHT, hot chocolate and biscuits as well as standard tea and coffee, and electric blankets on the beds. But also, it's proper pet friendly! You don't come across many places that let your dog stay inside with you,which was so perfect for us. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Loved it, and would definitely stay again if we ever pass through again.

Overall this is good value for money. We stayed in one of the studios and it was fine for a couple. The room was clean and comfortable. In August it is very cold so the electric blankets were welcome. The only suggestion for improvement is the parking. You can’t park anywhere near the studio rooms. There is room for a vehicle but if there is more than one studio in occupancy, then there really isn’t enough room for anyone else. The motel has room for caravans as well as a motel and it feels like they have tried to cram too many rooms into the limited space. You also need to drive into town for any food (unless McDonald’s or KFC is your choice of a meal). Overall, I would stay here again but be aware of the limitations.

I had another great stay at this motel last week, this time with my Border Collie. I’ve stayed here several times over the last couple of years & while it is an older style property, it has always been very clean and comfortable. The staff are pleasant & helpful. The property is off the main road & therefore quite. There is an Aldi store & petrol station just down the road, which is good for supplies. I stayed with my dog for 1 night last week & surprisingly, there was no surcharge for him. This is definitely a pet friendly property. I would be happy to recommend this property to family & friends.

After visiting a friend in Adelaide, we originally intended to stay in Hahndorf but they were booked out. As we were travelling to Melbourne, we decided on Murray Bridge, which turned out to be a very pleasant surprise! After booking at the Oval Hotel, we arrived and noticed the building looked a little oldish, but tidy. Our room turned out to be modern, comfortable and clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable we had on this trip, the facilities were great and included crockery, microwave and toaster. The location is good, just off the main street and quiet, while still being close enough to the shopping centre to be handy. Overall we were very impressed and would happily stay here again.

Great overnight stay. Very clean, facilities good- microwave, mugs(not cups), wine glasses, chopping board, good utensils. Bathroom was roomy. 2 comfy lounge chairs for watching TV or reading. Only improvement could be better coffee.

As the name suggests, this motel is very close to the oval and a bit out of the centre of town. My room was clean and contained the required amenities although it was a little dated. I was happy with the price and the location allowed for a quiet stay.

We stayed here for one night whilst passing through Murray Bridge. Nothing special to look at from the outside, however our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, which is always important, and it was also very quiet, which made for an uninterrupted nights sleep. Tea and coffee making facilities provided, along with a microwave. Not far from shops and restaurants. Would stay here again.

Not very far from Adelaide, this hotel doesn't 'wow' you when you pull up but it's neat. In the room it was very clean (wish I kept my house so clean), with shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream and such is supplied. Comfortable bed, good A/C, microwave and jug. And friendly staff! So it's very good value. So, we will definitely stay again when we are over.

The motel was very clean and comfortable and quiet, for the 3 of us. The outside is not visually appealing, but the inside of the rooms are more modern. Tea and coffee and milk and bickies supplied, and little breakfast boxes were supplied which for most people would be very suitable ( we had 3 allergy people) however Aldi is very close and we were able to get breakfast ingredients suitable for us and put it in our motel fridge. The man at reception was very helpful, letting us know the place to have an evening meal , would stay again if I went to Murray Bridge
