Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

My family stayed in Elm Tree Apartment Number 2 it is is stunning. It is a spacious and well appointed apartment with everything you would need for a short or long stay. We stayed during winter so the ducted air-conditioning and the electric fire in the lounge were very much appreciated. We only stayed a couple of nights, but would definitely want to stay longer next time. The owners of Elm Tree were very approachable and texted us to make sure we had settled in ok. Overall, the apartment was close to shops and restaurants (walking distance), very clean and well maintained, extremely comfortable (our teenage daughter loved the couch) and 'check-in' was so very easy. Thank you for an amazing stay.

My wife and I have just enjoyed three lovely nights at this beautiful apartment. Centrally located, an easy stroll to the shopping centre. Although on a main road, there was no traffic noise. The apartment is immaculate and spotless with attention given to the smallest detail. If you are looking for luxury in the heart of the lovely Adelaide Hills at reasonable rates, this is the place for you. We would definitely stay here again, although we are also interested in the Grandview - Flaxley Apartments.
PS: The Domino pizzas are to die for... so yummy!
PPS: Our stay was contactless so wearing face masks was irrelevant.

Grandview is a beautiful apartment. We came for girl"s trip, baby moon,
Contactless check in was easy. Contact from the owners was just right.
The apartment has a luxurious, quality feel to it.
It is well located, within walking distance to cafes, restaurants, cinema and shops.
It has a well equipped kitchen. Not that we did much cooking.
The beds were comfortable, we slept well.
It was surprisingly quiet given the the front faces the main road, the double glazed windows work.
The adjoining apartment was occupied but we only knew because there was a car in the carpark . We didn't hear them at all
The gas flame fire adds to the atmosphere.
We didn't want to leave!

We stayed at the Hideaway Huts in the Briar in Dawesley. Absolutely stunning. Beautiful accommodation on a gorgeous property. Tranquil and just the perfect place to switch off and relax. Listening to the birdsong as we sat on the deck with a glass of wine and cheese board before moving to the bath, also on the deck (and with a glass of wine 😉) was just blissful. We were visited by cows, kangaroos and sheep but didn't see a single person the entire three night stay.
Very clean and very well appointed. Loved the record player and book selection. Relaxing in the reading nook was also a highlight. So was going for a walk around the property. Highly recommend for a couple's getaway. We will definitely be back

Absolutely perfect, this property is finished to a high standard in every department. We couldn’t of asked for more, stayed two nights and didn’t want to leave. The apartment is fully self contained and is fitted with quality appliances. Well done

My partner and I stayed in The Briar Hideaway Hut. Everything about the hut is absolutely perfect - the outdoor bath and deck, beautiful surrounds/views, new and fully equipped kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom, wood fire (we went in summer so didn’t use) and the finer details of breakfast provisions and a bottle of wine to enjoy during our stay.

Tania was so easy to communicate with, and made sure we checked in okay and the stay was going well.
I would highly recommend the Hideaway Hut’s to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.
We will absolutely be visiting again.

- Excellent location.
- Awesome accommodation that was fully equiped. I didn't cook because all the major food franchises and grocery shops were just across the street.
- accommodation was on a main road however we did not notice, it felt like we were at a rural location.
- beds were perfect and firm.
- 4 adults and 2 kids in the house with enough space to spread out.
- extremely clean.
- excellent communication with owners and quick responses.
- when I return to SA I choose to stay here again.
Thank you

We enjoyed our stay here. The place was comfortable and warm. Large bedrooms. Well supplied. WiFi worked well. On a busy road but not a great issue, off street parking was great. A touch of class, would happily return.
