Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed at this caravan park overnight with a group of friends in our caravans. Situated right on the water it is a very pretty place to stay. The showers are clean and lots of hot water. The staff are friendly and easy to talk to. The caravan sites are very roomy and easy to get into. Was very busy when we were there so make sure you book before you arrive. As you may not get in Would recommend

Spotlessly clean and walking distance to shops, RSL, Bowling Club, Golf Club. Freshies Restaurant is very close and well worth a visit - as is the nearby Meningie Cheese Museum - we’d come back here again, very well run.

A great park very well maintained, clean amenities, basic kitchen, large undercover eating area with BBQ. Beautiful grassy lake frontage sites ( these are very deep) and plenty grassed ones behind those. Lot's of open grassed areas between sites. We love this park and have been a number of times. No pool or jumpy thing just lovely peace and quiet.

Great park large sites walking distance to town. Dog park across road. Amenities immaculately clean. Lake frontage with abundant birdlife and lots of pelicans. Will definitely be returning and probably quite often. Great cafe across the road.

Have stayed here a few times now and wouldn't stay anywhere else in the area.. Clean amenities, great camp kitchen, with the occasional happy hour or two with live entertainment. Troy and Jacqui keep this park looking fantastic, and quite often up for a chat or a bevvy. Great place to put in a kayak or SUP. The pelicans do a synchronised swim past most days and the sunsets well see attached photo of just one of a few

Just had the loveliest stay @ this gorgeous park right beside the lake - can't recommend it highly enough. Troy & Jacqui are fantastic hosts. Whether choosing a site for your caravan, motorhome or tent there's also gorgeous cabins for those without them. The park is also dog friendly (leashed of course) & there's quirky additions in every corner - fairy lights & colour changed poles @ night, comical signs (like a pee'ing pole for the pooches), BEWARE of drop bears in the camp kitchen, speaking of which is one of the best communal cooking areas we've seen @ a caravan park. The outdoor eating area resembles a hotel beer garden. So much to see in the township & along the Coorong & lake with fab eateries, pub & bakery. ;)

I stayed for 3 nights in a ‘Swan’ cabin overlooking Lake Albert (Note, not all the cabins are lakefront, check out the park map online prior to booking). The cabin was really well equipped with everything I needed for my short stay. The owners obviously take pride in the park and the accommodation they provide. The cabin was spotlessly clean, good sized bathroom, comfy Queen bed, and well equipped kitchen. They had great contactless entry procedures and communicated that clearly via text on the day before arriving. All in all I’m really happy with my stay here and look forward to coming back.

Thankyou for your kind review. As you have pointed out only 3 of the Swan cabins are on the lakefront, the other 2 are away from the lake however when you book online to get the lakefront ones they are listed as Swan lakeside cabins on our websites booking system. We look forward to welcoming you again.

Great park!! Loved being right on the lake with large sites, lots of grass and room for kids and families to get out and play. Some were canoeing on the lake. So many opportunities for photos with glorious sunsets, flocks of pelicans and moon shine on the lake. We stayed on the June long weekend and loved the free live music and celebration put on by the park. Facilities are are scrupulously clean and camp kitchen is a great comfortable area. Thanks guys for your friendly hospitality
