We stayed here for the first time and were most impressed by the spacious caravan spot, quiet location, easy access to local wineries. It is well located for day trips to the city of Adelaide via the freeway, Aldinga beach and its pleasures, and all of the Fleureiu Peninsula. Parrots join you from the trees, and the beauty of the...

Had a relaxing time here. McLaren Vale itself a beautiful place to visit. The caravan park is very well maintained, neat, clean, with all that is needed. Has a pool, tennis court, play ground area and lots of other areas. We had an ensuite powered site which this park has over 40 just brilliant. When booked we were quoted $45...

We decided to have a laid back Christmas and just enjoy the family and facilities, Aussie style. We had a van and family had a tents. Our site was a fantastic, flat, large site as requested. It was next to what seems to be a bird sanctuary, near the walking trail, near the pool and facilities. Lovely soft grass and...

I had a standard cabin which had two rooms sleeps 4. Cabin was very clean and well presented. The whole area was very peaceful and relaxing with only a short drive to the various wineries in the region. The pool looked very clean even though it was a bit cold to go in. I orgainsed a Trail Hopper wine tasting...

Large Park lush lawn en-suite site. The site and en-suite were quite large, had a pool and small playground but the park is so big children can cycle safely around. Walking distance to the main street and Coles/Foodland shopping centre. Only 35km South of Adelaide we used it as a base to day trip to all the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula...

This was our 3rd stay at the Lakeside Caravan Pk this year. Once again we found the amenities spotless, the sites grassed and manicured and the camp kitchen also spotless and user friendly. Despite a very busy weekend at the park the facilities were in great condition and replenished & cleaned promptly. What we also really enjoy is the large...

We came down to the Vale for a couple of days from Adelaide. This caravan park is ideally situated near the township, supermarkets and the Shiraz Trail. Good amenities with en suites sites for the van.

We have been traveling in South Australia 5 weeks. Normally use tent and van for our needs. Because of horrible weather we decided to stop and have few days break from cold and no shower situation in National Parks. McLaren Vale Lakeside was the only option we have been told for budget cabin. It is located bit away from the...
