My husband and I spent 7 nights at the 3 Diva's Marlene Cottage and thorougly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage is styled beautifully. The bed is comfy, the bathroom has a spa bath and the kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave and full size fridge/freezer and oven. We were supplied with a plentiful basket of breakfast goodies; all high quality local produce and all tasty. The cottage has a large deck with a bbq and two smaller decks all with seating and a lovely spot to have a glass of your favourite beverage when the weather is kind.

The icing on the cake are the two hosts, Dee and Greg who are so welcoming and although they totally give you your privacy, they are always available to assist you in any way. We would highly recommend a visit to 3 Diva's accomodation when visiting McLaren Vale. We plan to return in the future and will definitely be staying here again. Thanks Dee and Greg.

Arrived on a very hot day to find the Marlene beautifully cooled. As the evening arrived and it cooled down we enjoyed a wine on the upstairs balcony overlooking the vineyards. Slept well on lovely sheets and in the morning made breakfast from the produce in the fridge...eggs, bacon, yogurt, fresh strawberries, muesli and a coffee from the pod coffee machine. Short drive in to the Main Street, it that we went much as everything we needed was there.

We spent 3 nights in Moscato Cottage and it was the perfect location to visit the wineries in the Mclaren Vale region, as well as a morning down on the coast. The cottage is absolutely delightful. The provisions that were supplied made for a very warm welcome and certainly saved us from having to be up and out early in the mornings to find breakfast. Warm, cosy, spotlessly clean, and really quite romantic.
Best recommendation for an experience close by (walking distance) is to have lunch at Shingleback Winery. Such a fun and delicious lunch experience that was one of our most memorable experiences while travelling along "The Epicurean Way".

We stayed at 3 Divas in January 2020 as part of a wine trip and loved our time there. Our hosts Greg and Dee were lovely and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was supplied with local produce and was delicious.

I cannot recommend our stay here highly enough, just wish I could give it 6 stars!

Moscato Cottage is a one bedroom stone cottage built in the 1880s.
It is a perfect place for couples of any age.
Good well equipped kitchen, superb breakfast supplies pod coffee machine .
Very comfortable bed and a lounge with a big comfortable couch an eco fire and a great selection of free to air and Foxtel channels.
The owners also operate a wineries tour which we would recommend. We had a total of 6 passengers . Lovely people to travel with , excellent wineries including high profile D aren berg with its cube which offered a Salvadore Dali exhibition as well as the wine tasting. Great tour and great fun.
We found the restaurants excellent all around the region from The Star of Greece to The Victory Hotel and Darrys Verandah Restaurant were excellent ...Oh and Vaserellis at 169 Main Road...top class.
A beautiful region and lovely accommodation. 5 stars from us.

I highly recommend this accommodation. A perfect place to stay to explore McLaren Vale, with wineries and lots of restaurants within walking distance. The surrounding scenery is beautiful. The delicious supplied breakfast ingredients give a good start to the day (especially the chocolate and strawberries!).

We booked the marlene for our wedding anniversary and have never been so let down in our life. The marlene is located directly next to the managers quarters and shares the same driveway so there is no privacy, they can watch your every move....i guess we were expecting something a bit more private as this shared situation is not mentioned anywhere when booking. Our package included continental breakfast, bike hire and port...well the breakfast was nowhere to be seen, we had to ring twice and ask for it and were made to feel bad by doing so, when we enquired about the bikes at 5:30pm to ride to dinner, we were spoken to very rudely by Greg and made to feel terrible about wanting them then. The port was in a bulk container....how could we drink this not knowing how many other people have drunk from the same container & it's simply been refilled! We encountered many other problems; there were cockroaches, the oven and toaster didn't work (although the toaster did get replaced...no apology though), and to top it off Dee phoned us after we had departed and threatened us, accusing us of stealing their guest book, then threatening to charge us $100 to replace it! I really hope we caught the managers on an extremely bad day because we were spoken to, and treated terribly and our experience ruined our whole weekend! It was also the first night away from the recent birth of our baby boy. We even wrote a letter to the managers trying to seek some kind of sense as to how we were treated so terribly and never even got a reply. You will be able to tell their attitude by their response to this post i'm sure!

The Marlene is a modern two bedroom log chalet situated in the western corner of our one acre rural block and faces north to take in the beautiful McLaren Vale scenery. The Marlene overlooks a magnificent shiraz vineyard and olive grove and has extensive decking around it so that our guests can enjoy the view. It is screened with 3 large peppercorn trees and a six foot high fence to the side, at the front a large 100 year old mulberry tree provides shade and privacy. The Marlene is about 30 metres from Caffrey St. In addition all windows have blinds for total privacy. No windows of the owner’s residence overlook the Marlene, and the owners living quarters are some 30 metres facing east. Access to the owners premises is from the Caffrey Street side of the property with both bed and breakfast properties being out of sight and sound of the owners living quarters. For our guests convenience we have a small 24 hour office/reception area to the rear of our east facing premises where they are able to settle their accounts and be provided with anything they require. Guests are free to come and go as they please and are able to park their vehicles within a couple of paces from their cottages. The 20 metre long driveway leading to the Marlene is used only for guests in the Marlene. Our garage, and parking for the Teresa cottage is situated on the other side of the block. Breakfast is delivered fresh to the Marlene between 6pm and 7pm on the day of arrival. It consists of fresh baked bread (sometimes still warm), yoghurt, jams, fruit, juice, milk and cereal. On this occasion we attempted to deliver the breakfast at 545pm 15 minutes after arrival, however the guests were in the spa so it was not delivered until 645pm - certainly in time for breakfast! Our two bicycles are provided to our guests free of charge during the daylight hours and are subject to availability. We believe we have a duty of care not to provide the bicycles to guests who refuse to wear the helmets, wish to ride them in the dark (they do not have lights), and are under the influence of alcohol - all of which apply in this case. Repeated requests by the guests to provide a free bottle of wine was declined - it was not in the package that they purchased, and certainly not needed. For the enjoyment of all guests we provide a complimentary decanter of 12 year old Tawny Port supplied locally and quite delicious! It is presented in a 750ml crystal decanter as is normal with port. I do not believe this equates to a “bulk container”. Both cottages at 3 Divas are fumigated every three months - a certificate of fumigation is now copied and placed in the compendiums. We do, however live on a rural block, bordering vineyards, paddocks and olive groves and naturally experience flying critters and bugs. Both cottages are also supplied with insect sprays. Maintenance is carried out daily and all equipment is in great condition. On this occasion the toaster was reported as not working (and cheerfully replaced immediately), however worked perfectly when we checked. The oven in the cottage also worked perfectly with the occupants the following night cooking a roast meal in it! The most disappointing event was the removal, destruction and vandalism of our guest comment register. With only two pages remaining we were very proud of 3 years of fantastic comments on the cleanliness, great location, wonderful views, great customer service and amenities provided. After 4 phone calls and 2 text messages our guest book was finally returned by post, only to find that the guests had removed the last 6 months of guest comments pages and that some remaining comments had been scribbled across. This of course is irreplaceable. As owners of 3 Divas and Wine Diva Tours we have received numerous recent awards for our customer service. Whilst we welcome constructive criticism we do not have to put up with bad behaviour. I am sure that the general public will see this, look at the previous reviews and be able to see through this review. Given the circumstances we would not change anything that we did and are comfortable with the knowledge that we acted professionally and responsibly at all times.

My wife and I were given a voucher for a two night stay at this establishment for Xmas 2013. I looked on the 3 Divas website recently and saw that both accommodation's were available over the Easter period. When I rang, I was told that over a long weekend I must book a minimum of 3 nights. I conferred with my wife and she agreed to book an extra night. I rang back and said I would like to book the Friday through to the sunday. The lady; Dee, then asked me which accommodation I would like. Looking on their website, both accommodation's were available, and I was aware that the Marlene had a spa bath, and requested that accommodation. I was promptly told I could not have that accommodation as it had two bedrooms, and being a long weekend she wanted to keep it open for two couples. I complained that she had just asked me for my choice, and then refused me. She then told me I could have the Marlene for an extra $50 a night, and I argued back that my voucher gave me the choice of two accommodations, and the website was quoting the same price for both. Reading their website later, it says that an extra couple in that accommodation would be charged an extra $60 per night. Also, I can not find any policy on their website about a minimum 3 night stay for long weekends. If I had just booked 2 nights on their website over the Easter break would I have been refused? As it happened, Dee offered me the money back, and the good thing about this is we have found some accommodation elsewhere for the Easter break. I think the management of this establishment should be clearer about their policies to avoid any confusion with any potential future customers.

Found this place on Trip Advisor and wasn't disappointed. Lovely cottage with excellent amenities, breakfast supplies and very comfortable. Could not be happier with the service, especially when we locked ourselves out rushing to the dawn service!! Would definitely return again, highly recommended.

We stayed in the Moscato 2-person cottage and had a lovely 3-night romantic weekend away.
This is a relatively spacious well laid-out historic cottage with a large bathroom, air conditioned cosy bedroom, kitchen, nice furnishings, and cosy lounge (with modern metho fire for winter, but we stayed on a 38 degree weekend !). Sat on the private verandah/back courtyard each morning for breakfast with nice supplies (small pkts of muesli or Kelloggs, gorgeous sourdough bread, jam/marmalades/peanut butter/vegemite, margarine, milk, orange juice, yoghurt, milo, and choc treats), and tea/coffee supplied. Located on quiet edge of town near open farmland, 5-10 mins walk from main street, good restaurants and attractions, and helpful hosts.
