While this hotel looks like it's from the 80's, it's perfectly clean, solid and the staff were very friendly. I was really pleased it had soap, shampoo and conditioner, not only because I'd forgotten mine, but they are in pump-action bottles, so less landfill waste. Its location is good, as you can stroll up the main street of Mannum, and/or walk along the Murray River. Opposite the motel is the free car ferry, which foot passengers can go on to. Hey, it's only a 45 second ride, but it's still fun! We'd be quite happy to stop here again.

Pleasantly surprised by this motel. Although still very presentable, first impression was that it could be aging but really not so. We had a beautiful room overlooking the river and its magnificent redgums through a huge picture window.. King bed was very comfy and plenty of water pressure in the shower - always my two key criteria when assessing accommodation. The bathroom was on the pokey end of the scale but certainly adequate. Staff we delightfully friendly and accommodating.

Comfortable room and beds with good facilities. We had breakfast in the restaurant - excellent menu and very enjoyable, views out over the River Murray. Lovely friendly staff. Car park sizes for some of the rooms are rather tight for turning large vehicles - we have a Landcruiser Troop Carrier and were booked into Room 11 - due to the motel being cut into the hillside, not much could be altered there! Would certainly stay again, but request a room with easier car park access. Nice and quiet location, with ability to arrive late (as we did) - instructions to obtain our room key securely were emailed to us prior to departure.

Superb motel on the banks of the murray river. Staff were amazingly organised and attentive to our needs, and we felt at home and looked after.
If you can afford it, taking the riverside rooms would be nice to do - the view of the water is tranquil, and full of birds and wildlife.
Breakfast was hearty and warm, and a welcome site after 11 days in the outback. I would recommend a couple of days there to relax, unwind and enjoy the towns history and intersting landmarks.

Our family room was clean, comfortable and satisfactory. The big plus of the site is the cafe' with panoramic windows and views overlooking the River Murray. The outside seating area is a nice place to enjoy a drink. The menu provides good options at a reasonable price. A great place to stay and close to everything of interest in Mannum.

I stayed here in April on my first visit to Mannum and had to ride around South Australia again, as being from W.A. I couldnt get back home if I visited my family in NSW at the time. I had enjoyed my previous stay and liked Mannum so i did a slight detour from Hawker to stay here. Very clean, tidy, well maintained motel, I stayed in river view room again, just to watch the world go by. All staff very helpful, a huge plus is real milk when booking in, lots of brownie points in my book, I hate that UHT milk. Had dinner here the one night restaurant was open, I am surprised breakfast and dinner are only served a few mornings and some nights, I assume there is a reason, such as staff issues or lack of customers. Top laundry facilities too But yep will stay here again like a shot

I stayed here 3 nights in a riverview room recently. Decent sized room and bathroom, spotless, clean and tidy. Great service by all staff I dealt with. Scenic location over the river and ferries. I ate here 2 of the nights I was here, restaurant wasnt open on the Sunday and one of my pet peeves is when one asks that there by a reasonable interval between entree and mains, amazing how many times that request goes in one ear and out the other, BUT not here, fantastic service I toddled in second night and they remembered what wine, how I like it etc and they waited until entree finished so brownie points there. I plan on getting back to Mannum , hopefully later this year and will definitely stay here then

Stayed overnight at Mannum Motel and very pleasantly surprised by high level of professionalism and friendly service. Ate at Cafe Mannum for our evening meal. Chicken breast cooked to sweet juicy perfection, matched with a good regional wine followed by an equally expertly executed desert! Do yourself a favour and pop in for a meal or stay for a relaxing, welcoming experience. The motel and restaurant are reasonably priced and very clean. we look forward to our next stay to check in on coming updates and exciting new themes to the restaurant. thankyou for a wonderful and courteous stay (even when we locked our key in our room) management was so very helpful.

Stayed for 2 nights in a Riverview room which slept 2. Paid a premium for the view. Easy walk to the main shopping area. The staff were friendly, service good, and the room was clean, but for the price I would have expected the badly cracked basin to have been replaced, and not to have the vanity basin in the main bedroom area. Website photos show basin in bathroom. The sofa had seen better days. The room was very small, and the entrance fluorescent light didn’t work. Cover was missing from exterior unit number on the wall. I agree with jennir962- renovations needed. Meals not available while we were there.

Nice clean motel, we were in the family room which had 2 single beds as well behind a divider wall, there was just the two of us, kitchenette with microwave and full size oven and hotplates, good size fridge too. Bottles of water, 2 little chocolates and a bag of chips were a nice touch, plus tea, coffee and biscuits. You can walk down to the river and main street.
