We camped at the Wren campsite. It was totally private and a very well prepared site. We really enjoyed our 3 nights and if ever in the Flinders Ranges again would not hesitate to stay again. We got a bit of rain but the gravel site meant it did not get messy or muddy. The road in was red dirt so it got a little bit slippery but nothing that could not be negotiated with a 2 wheel drive vehicle as long as you were careful. We were towing a small full height van.

We spent 4 nights at Willow Springs and loved every minute! The information sent prior to arrival is excellent and ensures you are well prepared for your stay! We were camping in Horse Yard #3 site It had an immaculately clean porta loo and the site had been raked and cleaned before we arrived! An excellent fire pit is provided with cooking plate. The amenities are wonderful and very clean!, there is free wifi at the camp kitchen. We drove Skytreck and loved the day, you are provided with a map and it corresponds to numbers along the drive with lots of information about flora, fauna, geology and historic information. The last 3rd of the drive is challenging, exhilarating and probably 9/10 in terms of red tracks - we loved it and our Ford Ranger did it with ease! The view is stunning!
We had a rest day doing washing and reading and relaxing while we were there, the local birds kept us entertained and we did a couple of the recommended walks around the station.
We will be back! Thanks very much to the Reynolds family and staff

Great campsite near the creek. Our bush site was supplied with its own portable toilet with hand basin. Good to see some Flinders Ranges station country via their 80km Skytrek 4WD track. The ochre cliffs were a highlight.

We stayed at Willow Springs in the Overseers quarters. There was 45mm of rain in our first full day and the accommodation and service was great. The track in was closed for a few ours but station staff quickly inspected and cleared the track. Brilliant environment and a great spot from where to tour the Flinders Ranges.

We stayed in the Stockmans Lodge which, despite its name, in 4 years old. Superbly equipped with two bedrooms with king beds and separate ensuites. Magnificent fire place. Great views. Nice BBQ. The highlight was the 12km walk around the property. Close to the Pound. Fabulous views from Stoke Hill. Wifi is occasionally available from the Lodge but usually you have to walk 200 m to a shared kitchen to access

We had a camper trailer on an unpowered site provided with builders toilet, fire pit and table. We shared our secluded bushland spot with the the birds, the animals and some sheep. We drove the kilometre to the well appointed central shower, laundry and kitchen facilities as required. There is plenty to see and do on Willow Springs and the surrounding area, but what really makes this place special is the people. Michelle and her family were warm, friendly, caring and helpful. They were very generous with their time and advice, going out of their way to help us with any issues that arose on the road. We will be back!

Bush camp sites were private and clean .the staff were friendly and helpful. The sky track was worth the cost the scenery was amazing changing continually throughout the 70 odd kilometres. Some of the hills tested nerves. Central facilities are old but clean. We will be back.

The secluded camp site was a fantastic place to warm up by the fire, cook some camp food and star gaze all night. Having a portaloo close by made the experience very comfortable.
We will be back to spend a couple of successive nights so we can have a go at the Skytrek 4WD track and enjoying the hospitality that Willow Springs Station has to offer, a great place to base yourself in the Flinders Ranges

We were a group of 4 couples who stayed in the Homestead, facilities were great , bedding excellent and wood for the internal fire and also the fire pit. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The home was clean with new fridge and stove. Two showers and two toilets so plenty of facilities.

What an amazing experience. We camped here in early October. Cheap rates at $25 a night. We had an isolated campsite about 700m away from the homestead and about 300m from any other campers. Great facilities at the site - park benches and a fixed swivel hot plate over the fire. Near a creek. The camp kitchen near the home stead had new lockup toilets and showers. The kitchen had stoves, gas hot plates, fridge, freezer, powerpoints to charge gadgets, tv with DVDs and free wifi. The staff were amazing and very hospitable. Will definitely be back. Location is also great - so close to Wilpena Pound.
