At the center of town, the motel is in a very convenient location to visit Hahndorf and its major sights and restaurants nearby. It is practical, convenient and clean. Also having a place to park is a plus as parking is otherwise restricted in the village,

Great location. Booking, check in and out were all done with ease ovrr the phone.
Room for 3 adults was very nice with soft top beds, bedside tables and lamps (so often missing in many places).
Minor down side is trying to get water for the jug as you need to use a mug to transfer water from the bathroom basin. A large bottle of still water would add little to the tarrif.
Also I will nitpick now, but why do so many accomodation places go for the cheap option for repairs? Grey silicone on white grout???? Looks like Uncle Podger did the job ( look up the childrens book. My family won't let me see it as they say it will hurt my feelings😊). Well worth staying here for the location and these are minor inconveniences. We would stay again.

A great location in a town with limited parking. If travelling in winter be prepared for the rooms to be a little bit cold but otherwise clean and comfortable. Onsite parking is a bonus as parking is a challenge in Handorf

Reception is not manned so all comms via phone or text. Room dirty. Extra blanket had something stuck to it so not recently cleaned. Shower inside spa bath with uneven floor. Spa missing cap nozzles and no hygiene strip to show properly cleaned. Microwave smelled like days old curry. Tea bags not individual so handled by someone prior to being put out. Take own pillow as the ‘wafers in pillowcases’ not suitable for anyone.

My husband and I stayed here primarily to be within walking distance of The Plough restaurant. Great location also for shopping. The room was well laid-out with a very comfortable couch for my husband to stretch out with a very bad back! The king bed was also extremely comfortable with lovely fresh crisp linen and good choice of pillows. However there could have been a small coffee table in front of the couch. Plenty of tea/coffee/ milk supplies. Sophie must be the most pleasant manageress we have ever encountered--always a friendly smile and extremely obliging from the start with all my questions!

Overall the room was neat and tidy and the spa was good but this is the 2 stars and anything positive I can say about our stay ends. The bed was one of the worst we have slept in anywhere with pillows that were small lumpy and horrid. By far the wort thing is the sound proofing. Totally non existent. We could here every word of every conversation in the adjoining room and every sneeze cough and fart. Along with this snoring I'm sure you could Here in Mt Barker that kept us awake. The only respite from the chain saw next door was to put Spotify on with a nice lound Metalica Album playing until we eventually could sleep. Then we move on to the rediculous amount of time you have to run the water (in summer) to get hot water not to.mention the amount of water wasted waiting. One the water is not you then need to play Russian roulette with the temperature running cold or scolding hot. We would have left to return home in the early hour but after a few drinks with dinner erred on the side of caution and decided to endure what was the worst night sleep we have had in a very.long time.

Great location for everything in Hahndorf. Room was big and it was great to have a small couch as well. Microwave and fridge were handy as well. We did have difficulty filling the kettle as it doesn't fit under the bathroom tap so needed to use a cup. Not a big deal though. Bathroom was huge with a walk in shower. Reverse cycle air con kept the room warm on a chilly night. It was great for the bargain price we got for the room. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed for two nights and were very pleased with the cleanliness and presentation of the room. Located in the middle of Hahndorf, the room had a spa bath, large bathroom, microwave, fridge and all the other usual conveniences. Hahndorf is a tourist destination in itself and is close to Barossa Valley.

Hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bedroom is spacious equipped with microwave and fridge. The shower is huge with good water pressure. The bed is good size and comfy. Motel location is very convenient right in the middle of the town, everything is within walking distance. Staff is friendly.

Stayed here for 1 night as we were leaving early the next day to continue our Adelaide trip. The motel was very cute, cozy & clean with lots of charm. It was conveniently located in the centre of town. It was also great that they offered an after hours service (the ability to check in late) as we arrived later in the afternoon.
