Spent one night here and if the weather had been a bit warmer def would have used the balcony with great views overlooking the lake. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed, would have been even better with a slightly bigger fridge with decent freezer though for travellers its ice bricks. It is only a few minutes drive from the Main Street where there are heaps of shops and restaurants. Staff were all very helpful and it is a nice quiet park

We stayed in a resort room Small but very clean & the curtains a actually block out so you can sleep in without the sun bothering you. I think anyone would be happy to stay at this location & the cottages look great too. You can also have breakfast, lunch & diner in the cafe style restaurant.

This is one of the best privately owned Big4 caravan parks we've stayed in. The facilities are excellent. For people visitibg from interstate, there are lots to see in surrounding areas. Hahndorf township has a lovely atmosphere with lots of places to eat.

My family of three stayed here Sept 27 to 30 and we got the Standard 2 Bedroom Unit (2 queen). We traveled from WA and upon arrival we headed straight to Hahndorf to our accommodation. Initially we were worried as most of the time what we see in the photos of the facilities may not be what we get.
We couldn't have been happier. The accommodation is exactly as pictured. The cleanliness of the room for a public facility exceeded our expectations. We can only say thank you to the house keeping staff for doing such a wonderful job maintaining the cleanliness of the facilities. The little details such as cutlery, recycling and waste bins were well thought. Thankfully the carpet wasn't manky and didn't smell awful as some other facilities we've been to including 5* hotels.
The rest of the surroundings - you get exactly as what's described on their website. We didn't have much interaction with the staff apart from check-in and check-out and once when we wanted the golf kit. We arrived early around 12.30pm on day 1; we were early but the staff was very kind and since room was available, she let us in. The staff are very friendly and gives you a positive experience when you walk out.
Thank you to Discovery Hahndorf Resort for providing such a good facility. Please upkeep it at this level especially the room cleanliness and never let it run down or look tired.
It was a very pleasant and satisfying stay throughout.

We normally camp but arrived late on a Saturday with no booking and sites were full so we booked 2 nights in a one bedroom lakeview cabin as a treat. Then 1 more, then 2 more nights. Then booked another night. Hahndorf town really isn’t our kind of town at all, being very kitsch touristy, but the resort is a fabulous quiet space and a great base for exploring the Adelaide Hills area east of Adelaide. Every staff member was equally helpful and friendly, the cabin was spacious, clean and well decorated. The views of the lake were really relaxing and made spending time on the balcony very enjoyable. Very small quibble about some carpet tiles lifting presenting a possible trip hazard, but that’s being pretty picky. The resort is outside of the main tourist crush in town but it’s a short drive or walk and being so close allows you to enjoy what the town has to offer whilst avoiding the worst of the crowds. Will certainly stay here again.

We (two couples) booked the three bedroom Lakeview cottage with two bathrooms and a great deck overlooking the lake.
The cottage was perfect for our stay and had all the facilities for us to dine in on a couple of nights.
The staff were very welcoming and really helpful throughout our 4 day stay.
The park was really quiet and whilst the cooler weather didn't allow us to use the pool we did make good use of the BBQ facilities and the fantastic 18 hole putt putt course.
We enjoyed our stay and have already booked another one.

Stayed in a lakeside cabin for two nights. I found the cabin to be very spacious, clean and modern. They feature a large living area separate from the bedroom, a large bathroom and a deck overlooking the lake. Air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom was appreciated!
The only downside is the cabins are approximately 1.5km /20 minute walk from the centre of Hahndorf. It is a flat walk with a footpath, but just something to be aware of given Uber doesn’t operate in the town and taxis can be hard to come by.

We had an enjoyable stay in Lake view Studio, rooms were comfy and warm with electric blankets and reverse cycle air conditioning. Fully stocked Kitchenette but the absence of a Cooktop and full size fridge were sorely missed. The Toastie Sandwich maker was helpful for toasted sandwiches. Staff were very helpful & friendly.

We had a 2 bed unit and it was great. We had a kitchenette and a back patio with furniture but it was too cold to sit out there. The unit looks to have been refurbished and looked great. The living area had a table and chairs. Only one 2 seater lounge chair and a single seater so if you had four people watching tv you would be in trouble but since we had 3 it worked for us. The bed was comfortable and had electric blankets. There was only heating in the bedrooms so we did have to crank it up and leave the bedroom doors open to warm the living area. The shower was a great size although the bathroom was on the small side. We used this as our base and drove to the Main Street and surrounding areas. The overall resort was spacious and had a nice feel to it being surrounded by trees and farmland. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We found the cabin well equipped, clean and a very peaceful and quiet spot with a rural view with duck and geese coming to greet us in the morning for breakfast company. A lovely experience overlooking a lake . Great staff
