Lovely but dated cabins. It was very clean, bed was great and views were fabulous. Park host was very friendly and accommodated us at short notice and getting in late from a drive from Alice. I’d stay there again for a few nights relaxation for sure.
Really easy communication, lovely park and location, good value! We booked 2 cabins for an extended family of 5 adults and 3 kids for an overnight stay on our way to Pt Lincoln. The booking process (via email) was super easy, the park was lovely (it's not your pristine grassed park with concrete slabs -its rustic, suits the region and has a lovely vibe). Great camp kitchen, laundry (with book exchange) and facilities. Lovely clean swimming pool with shallow and deep ends (which we definitely used!). We had an older style brick one room cabin and a more modern 2 bedroom with balcony), both well equipped and clean with everything we needed. The view over the water to Cowell was lovely! Managers/owners very friendly and up for a chat. We would definitely stay here again (and hopefully for longer) when in the area!…
Lovely and quiet as it is slightly out of town. We were in an older type of cabin but everything worked and they had given us some nice crockery to eat off. The view was delightful. It was on the side of town towards Lucky Bay from where we caught the ferry back to Wallaroo - a good place to stay if you are wanting to do the same.
Fab harbour views from our site - we enjoyed a really great, relaxing, quiet stay. This is a top spot and recommended. Very friendly welcome and a nice chat with Judy. Amenities are well looked after & very clean. Nice swimming pool.
The stay at the Harbour View caravan park was absolutely fantastic. The cabins we stayed in was clean and tidy and located in a quiet area with magnificent views. The owners were extremely friendly and nothing too hard to help make the stay hassle free .. I would recommend this caravan park to anyone seeking peace and serenity’
Was a dreadfully windy hot day. We decided to upgrade to a cabin. Owner was lovely. No problem. Cabin was big clean and cosy. Very reasonably priced. The park is quite big with shade and a Swimming pool. Not to much to do around town and park is a couple of km from town. Still a nice place to relax and chill out.
Our stay in an ensuite cabin was disappointing and our worst accommodation during our 35 night touring holiday. We found the cabin in need of a good clean - the cutlery drawer had crumbs and dirt, drinking mugs were stained (inside and around the lip), and the kettle and toaster were covered in grime. We didn't sit on the couch as the black cover had hair on it. We felt a need to use disinfectant wipes on all surfaces and pre washed any crockery we used. The bed was comfortable and clean but we couldn't recommend to stay here.
This park is untidy, grounds need weeding and attention needed to the whole area. We were amazed at the weeds, we have two small dogs and put a fence around our awning area but it was hard to dodge the weeds. Amenities were clean and tidy. It is my understanding that the park is up for sale.
Good position just on the edge of town, the amenities are good and clean, the sites are a bit dusty but that is to be expected. good views to the ocean from the park and it has a good swimming pool on site.
