We met friends with their caravan at this park and stayed in a "deluxe" two bedroom chalet. The park is very well maintained and there are plenty of amusements for kids, though in our case that wasn't applicable; I just mention it for the information of others. The laundry facilities were good, though there was some confusion about which dryer was connected to which coin machine as they were not individually labelled.
Our chalet, though classed as deluxe was, we thought, rather basic and was not very roomy. There was no space in the main bedroom for suitcases: there was barely enough room to walk around the bed, and there was limited wardrobe space. We were there for a week and wanted to mostly unpack, so we used the second bedroom for that.
The second bedroom was even more compact, with two single beds against the walls and bunks folded back above them. There was a small wardrobe in between the beds, but I cannot imagine where four people, even kids, would be able to store their clothes if they were there for more than a couple of days.
The equipment in the chalet was good, with the usual amenities such as a stove with oven, microwave and a small TV. There were plenty of utensils and other appliances and we had everything we needed. The reverse cycle air conditioning worked well - as Berri was experiencing extremely low temperatures at the time we were thankful for the heating. Unfortunately the lounge was very tired and saggy.
The main thing that bothered us about the chalet was the lack of privacy. They had block-out curtains for pulling across at night, but during the day people could see straight in because there were no net curtains or screening blinds on any of the windows. It was an issue in the main bedroom particularly (It didn't have curtains, just a roller blind), because if we rolled up the blind in the daytime, people walking past the back of the chalets (they did this quite often rather than use the road out the front) could look straight into the bedroom. We chose to keep the blind down during the day because we didn't want anyone looking in and it was very dark, of course. The photos on their website show net curtains on all the windows, but there are none on any of them now as far as I could see.
We used the camp kitchen when barbecuing with our friends, and the kitchen nearest their caravan site did not have yellow lights so bugs were a big problem even though it was cold.
We went to the Wednesday Pizza Night that they put on regularly, and were supplied with bases to add our own toppings then they cooked them for us. Had it not been so cold and windy it would've been very enjoyable, but you can't do anything about the weather.
Overall this is a very nice holiday park, but as I have mentioned, there were some problems with the chalet. I could not imagine 6 people being comfortable in one of these units, particularly if they were there for an extended stay. On the other hand, I think our caravanning friends were very happy with their facilities and site.

My hot tip is to visit off peak and you will have an amazing time. Unfortunately most of our trip was on Easter holiday in the new 3 bedroom apartments. The apartment itself inside was great. Had a split system which is great because the area’s weather can be extreme hot or cold during the year but what really spoilt our holiday there and I will choose alternate accomodation over next holiday in the Riverland is that the apartments only provide 2 car spots per apartment. Most people while we were there had brought two cars as well as their boats and jet skis so there wasn’t enough room and therefore every evening without fail after eating out we would find cars and boats in our car spots which was really draining. Another thing was we were in the downstairs apartment and the one above us had a lot of people in and the constant noise during the day as well as during the night of banging and chairs scraping on the balcony as well as inside - we were happy to leave. Also I couldn’t believe you had to pay $35 for 2 adults and 3 kids family pass for a 9 hole mini golf either or $12 an adult. First caravan park I have known that makes you pay. Bottom line - I personally will only consider out of school holidays as it was unpleasantly chocoblock at Easter.

This park has a great location by the Murray River and excellent facilities including a large pool area - very much needed on a day of 35 degrees Celsius. We stayed in one of their luxury villas, which probably wasn’t as luxurious as expected. It was very good but could have been better… the second bedroom is very compact with little storage space for clothes and no space to store luggage. The master bedroom had a little more space for clothes but again, no room for luggage. We had to leave some of our luggage in the living area, which was also small and therefore put pressure on our ability to relax there. A little extra space in their premium accommodation would make this place perfect.

For my birthday my friends and I wanted to go mini golfing as the website said it was available until 6pm, we arrived at 4:30 and they said no. We walked away with understanding and went to use their restrooms , when they came out and told us we were not able to. Very disappointed. Will not be returning.

Fantastic reception from the moment we walked into reception.
Coffee kiosk was a bonus, amenities were spotless
Camp kitchen well appointed and heated. Pizza night was a hit.
Mini golf just for a bit of extra fun. Not to mention the pool and the jumping pillow
Short walk down to the street
We will definitely be back

Had a fantastic stay at Riverside caravan park. What a beautiful park . From my phone booking to the staff in the office, so friendly and helpful. One of the best caravan parks I have stayed in after traveling around Australia for 7 years . They cover all sorts of accommodations from camp sites to cabins. I highly recommend

We had an ensuite powered site for our caravan for 2 nights in April 2024. OMG, what a crazy place. Getting in to our site was tight - opposite the mini golf ! The ensuite was clean and the shower had good pressure. We were in a block of 4 ensuite sites however the other three had been booked by a group with camper trailers that took over the whole corner and were very noisy. The park is set up for kids with mini golf, pool, movie nights etc. So don't go there expecting a nice quiet relaxing holiday. The parks amenities are good and the location is fantastic, just across from the river and a short walk to town. We will find somewhere quieter next time as Berri is a lovely town.

This busy park is situated opposite the river and close to town. The amenities are spacious, spotless and the staff friendly. We loved the home made Anzac biscuits they gave us on arrival. Wood fired pizzas are on offer two nights a week and we were lucky that they were also doing them on a Monday night. For $7 you get a pizza base, tomato topping and a container of cheese. You then design your pizza using your own toppings, in our case Ham and mushroom, and then you hand it back to be cooked in the wood fired oven. Fantastic! We really enjoyed our stay here.

This park is located in an excellent position. It is clean and tidy. BUT if you want peace and quiet this is not the place. We were located near the Cafe/Kiosk Vili’s within the park. The music starts at 8am and goes until about 8 pm. Constant, annoying and loud enough to be annoying if parked opposite..
This may be why the person managing the Cafe feels the need to shout whenever she is talking to her staff, customers and Park staff. If you like a bit of quiet ask for a site away from the kiosk.

This is our second stay at this caravan park, we stayed for 4 nights on the riverview powered site. We had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this park. The park is kept immaculate including the amenities. All of the staff that we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We loved the fact you can walk to the Hotel and the supermarket.
We were also offered the opportunity to go on the 3 hour catered cruise along the magnificent Murray River, we enjoyed the day immensely once again the staff were lovely and we were made to feel right at home.

hello As far as I know it is ok but check with the manager / reception way before you arrive or when you potentially make a booking. When we stayed there were mostly great visitors but a few questionable ones and if there has been pet problems since our visit, policies may have changed. Give them a call as they were amazing with us, incredibly helpful, down to earth, friendly and beautiful people. It is a great park. :)
