Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a three night stay at the pavilions and loved it. Awesome breakfast with a massive bowl of beautiful fresh fruit. The deck and BBQ with a bush back drop was the spot to prepare our meals. The pavilion is beautifully furnished and Kate has provided heaps of tip for local wineries, shopping and site seeing. Aldgate is a great area to base yourself and explore the Hills. We will return and thanks again Kate for looking after us.

What a stylish, comfortable hills getaway. A friend and I had 3 wonderfully relaxing nights at the Gums. Kate and Helen were very friendly, accommodating hosts. They pay attention to every detail. The property wraps you in warmth, literally and aesthetically. The setting is nothing short of breathtaking, even with a bunny hopping past the windows. To top it off, it is spotlessly clean. This property will not disappoint even the most discerning guest. Thank you. We will definitely be back. Wendy

Everything you could need for a short stay in the Adelaide Hills ~ beautiful scenery everywhere with loads of places to walk and friendly people. The Cladich Pavillions were immaculately clean, cosy warm as we went in Winter and perfect to unwind and listen to the birdlife I loved the kookaburras x 3 right above our little deck! and the lovely lady was very welcoming ~ local shops minutes away and if you are willing to look there are SOOOO many places to see the Aldgate Valley Reserve walking path is just one of the beautiful walking tracks along the river seeing the native flora 🌸 would recommend staying here to all ~ 10/10 😊

We spent two nights in the Billabong room during a trip to the Adelaide Hills in November and thoroughly recommend Cladich Pavilions. Or room was quiet and comfortable. Our only gripe was the absence of a Nespresso machine so we had to drive into the village for coffee (which even there wasn't great). Five stars in every other way.

What a wonderful few nights we spent at Claddich Pavilions. We were met by Kate, who took time to show us the property, give us some information on good places to walk and eat and ensure that everything was to our liking. The room, bathroom and kitchen area were beautiful, immaculate and well kept. Our breakfast supplies were plentiful, more than we could eat and also all local produce. We couldn't recommend this property highly enough. A & H

We spent 2 nights celebrating our anniversary in this truly beautiful accommodation. The setting is stunning and the quality of the accommodation is gorgeous! Kate went over and above catering for my dietary requirements with the provisions provided. A blissful experience, so relaxing! We cannot recommend more highly ❤️ Brandon and Mandy

Peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed, comfortable and exceptionally clean. We were met by Kate and stayed in the Dunes pavilion. The provisions left in the Pavilion were excellent, it was a two night get away and totally enjoyed the experience. Private and relaxing. thank you , we will be back. Thoroughly recommend this destination to anyone. Gary and Jenny

It was a birthday getaway to the Adelaide Hills and Cladich did not let us down. It was a delightful place to stay. All mod cons plus it has a lovely bushland feel to it. It was quiet, unobtrusive and clean. I warned the proprietors ahead of time re me being a coeliac and I was provided with really nice (continental) breakfast provisions plus birthday girl got ample 'normal' provisions too. We wished we could have stayed longer but sadly we couldn't. We have no hesitation in recommending Cladich to everyone. It is good value for money, close to pubs and restaurants in Aldgate and surrounds and the proprietors are very responsive to requests. Hopefully we can return in winter where, we imagine, it will be very cosy! It certainly helped put the 'Happy' in 'Happy Birthday'! Thank you!
