We stayed in the smaller 'Billabong' room as it was the only option with a bath. It didn’t have a deck like the others, which I’m sure would be lovely in warmer months, but nevertheless we were still treated to gorgeous birdsong sounds each morning penetrating the windows and we had plenty of ‘outdoor time' anyway with lots of lovely walking in the nearby area.

Decor is not fussy, all just very clean and very comfortable. 'Billabong' is the ‘middle room’ which is off a thoroughfare to another room, so you have to expect there may be people passing through the ‘common’ area just outside your door, but that’s no big deal and not dissimilar to people walking along a hotel corridor sometimes. This room also doesn’t have a dishwasher or kitchen sink so you put your dirty dishes out in a basket and they are returned clean by the host, so even without a real kitchenette (fridge and bench only) it still functions well and there’s certainly all you could need in the way of glasses and crockery etc.

The continental breakfast provisions are nice and quite generous and little touches like cookies and fudge on arrival are appreciated.

Interactions with Kate via email and text re: after hours arrival and early departure were all efficient and made for an extremely easy Adelaide Hills getaway. Would definitely recommend.

The only suggestion we can make is perhaps to have a Jurlique body lotion bottle as well as the nice shampoo/conditioner.

After having to cancel my earlier planned visit because of the COVID19 restrictions I was excited to rebook for winter with the free night offer. As a single lady traveller this was perfect as I felt safe and at ease the whole time. It was lovely to meet Kate who showed me around The Dunes room I’d booked and indulged my over excitement at the bird art on the walls. There is everything you could need with ANZAC bickies and caramels to treat yourself, ample breakfast provisions and the luxurious Jurlique shampoo in the bathroom (so good I took the short trip to Jurlique Farm to buy some) it’s easy to explore the local towns and walks or stay in, cook for yourself and chill out on the couch. I know it might look like a romantic couples get away but trust me, single cat ladies can enjoy staying here just as much (maybe more) and I will definitely be back in the future.

It was a birthday getaway to the Adelaide Hills and Cladich did not let us down. It was a delightful place to stay. All mod cons plus it has a lovely bushland feel to it. It was quiet, unobtrusive and clean. I warned the proprietors ahead of time re me being a coeliac and I was provided with really nice (continental) breakfast provisions plus birthday girl got ample 'normal' provisions too.

We wished we could have stayed longer but sadly we couldn't. We have no hesitation in recommending Cladich to everyone. It is good value for money, close to pubs and restaurants in Aldgate and surrounds and the proprietors are very responsive to requests. Hopefully we can return in winter where, we imagine, it will be very cosy!

It certainly helped put the 'Happy' in 'Happy Birthday'! Thank you!

We stayed in the Billabong room, for a couples getaway. The breakfast supplied was all lovely local brands and produce, fresh and delicious. We had the indulgence package snd were totally spoilt!
The bed was comfortable and the room well set up.
The rooms are located in the back of the private property in the midst of beautiful trees and wildlife. Gorgeous view for breakfast with floor to ceiling windows.
Kate was a helpful and accommodating host, with a cheerful disposition. Our stay was cancelled once due to COVID and she was prompt with replies and helpful with rebooking us.
Great location for local wineries and eating.
Loved the stirling markets and laneways, host most helpful with information about what’s on in the area.
Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I have had two nights at Cladich Pavilions and cannot praise Kate and Helen high enough. The accommodation is of a very high standard with quality furnishings and impeccable attention to detail. We wanted for nothing. The breakfast provisions were delicious and Kate and Helen are marvellous hosts. We would certainly recommend it to anyone and hope to return there ourselves one day.

Everything you could need for a short stay in the Adelaide Hills ~ beautiful scenery everywhere with loads of places to walk and friendly people. The Cladich Pavillions were immaculately clean, cosy warm as we went in Winter and perfect to unwind and listen to the birdlife I loved the kookaburras x 3 right above our little deck! and the lovely lady was very welcoming ~ local shops minutes away and if you are willing to look there are SOOOO many places to see the Aldgate Valley Reserve walking path is just one of the beautiful walking tracks along the river seeing the native flora 🌸 would recommend staying here to all ~ 10/10 😊

We stayed a few nights at Cladich Pavillions (Dunes) for our honeymoon. The lovely Kate greeted us upon arrival, showed us the property, informed us about the area and gave us a lot of tips and suggestions of local points of interest. If we ever needed anything we knew Kate was just a message away.
The property itself is very central. The Dunes had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom/shower was very modern and the accomodation was well insulated and warm.
Thank you Kate and Cladich Pavillions for adding to our honeymoon experience.

What a wonderful few nights we spent at Claddich Pavilions. We were met by Kate, who took time to show us the property, give us some information on good places to walk and eat and ensure that everything was to our liking. The room, bathroom and kitchen area were beautiful, immaculate and well kept. Our breakfast supplies were plentiful, more than we could eat and also all local produce. We couldn't recommend this property highly enough. A & H

If I could give Cladich Pavillions higher than a 5 star experience I would. I stayed here the night before my wedding with my bridal party and the night of my wedding. It was perfect, plenty of space to spread out and get ready. I also had all my wedding photos here as the grounds are incredibly beautiful.
Kate’s hospitality made the stay even better. Her communication is the best I have experienced and her personal touches exceeded my expectations. The hand cut flowers, local produce, fruit platters and all round cleanliness.
I could not recommend more highly. We will definitely be back.

We spent two nights in the Billabong room during a trip to the Adelaide Hills in November and thoroughly recommend Cladich Pavilions. Or room was quiet and comfortable. Our only gripe was the absence of a Nespresso machine so we had to drive into the village for coffee (which even there wasn't great). Five stars in every other way.
