My Aunt and I stayed at the Curtain Fig Tree Motel on the 23rd March and we absolutely loved our short stay. The hosts Jane and Mark were very friendly and could not have been more helpful. I was on the Tablelands to attend a funeral and 40 minutes before the funeral I discovered my battery in the car was...

We stayed here for one night on our recent tour of the tablelands and were very impressed. The lady who greeted us couldn't have been more friendly or hospitable. The little dogs were very cute and the standard of the room was high. We had breakfast the next morning which was excellent and the home made bread was delicious. We...

The first thing we noticed in the room was heaps of black MOULD in the shower. A quick spray with mild bleach would have removed this. The second thing was the thick dust on the wall above the bed, on the pelmet for the light above the bed and anywhere else you cared to look. I sneezed all night instead...

You know, I find it sad when people do not give us the chance to put things right. Like Voltaire, I believe everyone has the right to their opinions: but I also believe in the right of reply. Obviously, we let you down. But, as you did not tell us, we had no opportunity to move you, or refund your...

We stayed at the Curtain Fig Motel for two nights on our family tour of Cairns and surrounds. The owners were lovely and very helpful with advice of where to go and what to see and where to eat! The rooms were as pictured and the room and beds provided a good night sleep. We had our own breakfast supplies...

The linen is very high standard and the coffee machine is very welcome. The hosts were just wonderful and the food for tea and breakfasts was top class. Mine host Mark provides...

We stayed here two nights with our dog. It is great to find so many motels becoming Pet Friendly as it takes the stress out of travelling with your dog. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, the owners could not be more helpful. The complimentary scones, jam and cream were great with a cuppa when we...
